18” Medical Video Grayscale
Display
The MVGD-1318, Barco’s 18” grayscale flat panel display with a
native resolution of 1280 x 1024, has been designed to replace
end-of-life CRT displays used in x-ray modality systems.
Its high brightness and excellent viewing angle guarantee
optimum efficiency. User controls are available through an OnScreen Display. The MVGD 1318 allows easy wall- or ceilingmounting and features a built-in power supply with medical
approval. BNC-connectivity enables single composite video
cable connection.

Plug & play installation
The BlueBase backlight and BNC connection make the
MVGD-1318 the perfect flat panel display replacement for
legacy monochrome CRT displays used in x-ray applications.
Accurate image representation at all times
Automatic DICOM calibration in combination with Barco’s
Backlight Output Stabilization technology (BLOS®) ensure a
calibrated grayscale image representation over the lifetime of
the product.
Flexible for non-standard video
Fully programmable scaling, independent in horizontal and
vertical direction, allows aspect ratio correction for nonstandard video signals.
Ambient light sensor
A calibrated ambient light sensor allows the user to adapt the
luminance output according the ambient light conditions.
