MRFD 248HB - High-Bright display
19“ Modular Rugged Flat Display for high ambient light conditions
The integrated Display Control Module (DCM) can be configured to meet specific application requirements (e.g. multiple analog or digital video inputs, direct camera input). The mixing functionality incorporated in the MRFD 248HB, results in a total solution for image overlay and mixing, with no need for separate video mixing cards to be installed at the host computer. The MRFD 248HB also features BIT (Built-in Test), which assists users in fault detection.
Main features:
High-Bright sunlight readable LCD
Bonded optical stack for superior ruggedization and elimination of
condensation problems
Automatic Phase Adjust (APA) technology
Optimized backlight performance and dimming curve
On-Screen Display (OSD) for adjusting display settings
Multiple analog or digital video inputs
Low life cycle costs
Optional LCD Flicker Compensation solution (LFC)
Optional night vision goggle compatible
Barco's MRFD 248HB is a 19" High-Bright flat panel display specifically developed for operation in high ambient light conditions and qualified for use in harsh environments such as rotary wing platforms. The MRFD 248HB also features an advanced NVIS option, designed to provide operators a night vision goggle compatible display solution for dark night conditions.
Barco’s MRFD 248HB is a member of the MRFD family, combining a Rugged Display Module (RDM) with a high-performance Display Control Module (DCM), connected by a single cable, the Barco Intermodule Link (BIL). Thanks to this split design, the DCM can be placed in a remote location, requiring less space.
The MRFD’s Display Module features a sunlight-readable LCD with a resolution of 1280 x 1024, offering exceptional performance in high ambient light conditions. A front bonded optical stack ensures optimum optical performance at all times and offers a truly rugged, condensation-free visualization solution under all conditions. Moreover, the Rugged Display Module feature Automatic Phase Adjust (APA) technology, offering clear and sharp images over time. Optionally, the display can be equipped with Barco’s unique, patented LCD Flicker Compensation solution (LFC), guaranteeing flicker-free images (e.g. Sonar applications,...) at all times.
