Setting Up Video Routings
The MatrixPRO-II DVI 16x16 Router uses a more efficient method of routing. A Video Input can be linked to multiple Outputs with a single entry. Follow the steps below to set­up a Video Routing from the front panel.
The MP-II DVI 16x16 Router System settings and functions listed below can be changed using the “FUNC” Key. Pressing the FUNCTION key will allow you to cycle through the following features:
PC Program Operation
A PC Program has been included on the MP-II DVI product CD. This program provides a user friendly graphic interface (GUI) alternative to front panel and command input operation. Additional info on this software can be found in section 5 of the User’s Guide.
To install the program on your PC just run the MPII­DVISetup program that is located in the MPII-DVI folder on the product CD.

Reset Switch
This switch puts the unit into reset mode. Unplug
the AC power cord to
power the unit off
completely
Press the “Link” key
Select the Input Channel Number using the “Input” Keys
Using the “Output” Keys, select all outputs you would like to route the input to. (pressing the
output key again will de-select that output)
Press the Enter Key after selecting your Outputs to store your Video Routing
To Clear a routing from the front panel
Press the “Link” key then Press the “Shift” Key
“UnLink” should appear on the display
Press the “Input” key you would like to clear the routings for.
Press the Enter Key to clear all outputs associated with the “Input” you selected.

Web Control Panel Operation
The Web control panel provides a user-friendly GUI and easy access to control the MP-II DVI. Additional information on the Web Control Panel can be found in section 6 of the User’s Guide.
To launch the Web control panel connect your PC to the MP-II DVI through a switch or hub. A direct connection can be made from a PC to the MP-II DVI but may require a crossover cable. Set-up your PC Network Properties as instructed in section 3.1 of the User’s Guide.
Launch your web browser and enter the IP address of the MP-II DVI 16x16 into the URL address line. The factory default IP address of the router is 192.168.0.246

Command Input
The MP-II DVI 16x16 Router can also be controlled using Command codes that are in an ASCII String format. These strings can be sent to the Router through a RS-232 or TCP/IP connection. The commands can be found in section 7 of the User’s Guide.
RS-232 default settings:
Bits per second (baud rate): 115200 (115200 is default baud rate of MATRIXPRO-II DVI 16x16 )
Data bits: 8 Parity: None Stop bits: 1 Flow control: None
IMPORTANT
For HDCP sources, ensure the Output Display device is HDCP-compliant. Otherwise, the display device will be blacked when protected content is selected to be shown on that output.

Product firmware updates are available on the Barco website at www.barco.com. Go to Image Processing and then to Matrix Switchers
The MegaBoot.exe software is used when downloading new firmware to the MatrixPRO-II DVI Router. The software can be run on a PC with Windows 7, as an Administrator or on a PC with windows XP.
Connect your PC to the service port using the RJ11 to DB9 serial download cable provided. Your PC serial COM port must be set 38400bps baud rate when performing firmware updates through the service port.
