Barco’s SLM Executive Series is considered the best projector in its class for fixed

installations in high-profile venues like customer centers, conference halls and

auditoriums. Thanks to the combination of three-chip Digital Light Processing (DLP

TM

)

technology and Barco’s powerful pixel map processing, your audience will enjoy sharp,

vibrant video images, with remarkable color depth and uniformity. This versatile SLM

projector series ranges in light output from 5,000 to 8,000 ANSI lumens and is the perfect

projection solution for convincing and compelling presentations for large audiences.

Seamless Source Switching

Enhance the flow and momentum of large audience presentations thanks to the
seamless source switching functionalities. Switch sources on-the-fly without
distracting on-screen warning messages or irritating waiting intervals.
Special effects like fade in and box out offer smooth visual transitions when
switching sources. No need to go to the expense of external switchers.

Show multiple sources simultaneously

Make your presentation more powerful by showing two sources
simultaneously on the screen. The picture-in-picture functionality is ideal for
large-screen applications: a typical presentation can be shown alongside a
video capture of the speaker or a corporate movie. The SLM Series allows
you to show two sources at one time, in whatever combination: video-in­video, data-in-video, video-in-data, data-in-data. When you position the
second source, you can choose from 4 locations on the screen: up/right,
up/left, down/right and down/left.

Designed for multiple-screen applications

The SLM series includes unique features that make it an ideal solution
when projecting with several projectors on multiple screens.

Barco’s smart Linked Constant Light Output feature synchronizes and
automatically adjusts the light output of linked SLM E

XECUTIVE projectors,

resulting in a uniform brightness over multiple screens.

• Unique edge-blending software

When projecting on multiple-adherent screens, to
obtain panoramic images, it is important to ensure a
smooth overlap of the different images. Barco
developed a unique software, called S

CENERGIX,

standard available on SLM series. This edge-blending
solution combines images projected by two (or
more) SLM projectors: the software combines the
processing of the 2 projectors and projects one image
without visible overlaps.

The powerful DLP three-chip technology further
allows multiple channels to display images with
matching color reproduction.

• Extreme horizontal and vertical lens shift

• Motorized "click-and-playTM" lenses. The SLM projector is

ready to project in any presentation area, thanks to the wide
range of high-quality lenses.

• The ceiling mount enhances fixed-ceiling installation.

• The multifunctional frame allows placement of the SLM

projector in any direction (vertical, horizontal and sideway).
This frame can also be used for multi-stacking purposes
(redundancy).

Thanks to the optional network interface, the SLM projector
becomes an IP-addressable device and allows the Facility Manager
to access and manage projectors in different locations from one
central point or a remote location. Status information like total
runtime of the projector as well as warnings, like lamp-life status,
can be sent to the AV Facility Manager via email, resulting in an
improved and faster service.

This networking feature results in a lower total cost of ownership
and facilitates the integration of the projection device in the
company.

Remote control & diagnostics thanks to
network connectivity

In applications where you need high-contrast images, like high­quality video in an auditorium, you can select the "High Contrast
Mode" from the menu. With this feature, a contrast ratio of more
than 1600:1 will be attained, the light output level will be reduced
by half. However, for a data presentation in a brightly lit auditorium,
you can switch back to the normal 8,000 ANSI lumens brightness.
