2.1 Introduction
Overview
The B-16 Mobile LE D is a mobile outdoor LED display solution. The LED-wall comes in a trailer that can be pulled b y a vehicle with a 3500 kg (7000 lbs) towing capacity. The bolted draw bar makes it possible to adapt only 3 different ball hitches 390/430/470 mm (standard 430 mm). All electronics and setup equipm ent are stored properly and compact when traveling.

When arriving on the event location, the B-16 Mobile LED can easily be set up. The wall itself slides out of the trailer by means of a hydraulic system. There is no need for trusses and structures to be set up. The screen can be turned + 90° or - 90° out of its neutral position, allowing you to adjust the display to face the audience.
The B-16 Mobile LED contains a diesel-fueled generator. No external power supply is required but can be used, and it comes with a Ba rco LED-PRO for high quality im age processing.

2.2 B-16MobileLEDtrailer
Overview
The trailer is equipped with a parking jack and 4 bearings to level the trailer.
It also contains a hydraulic mast to s et up the LED screen and a LED screen split up in 3 parts.
A diesel generator from Europower creates the necessary electrical power for the LED system and for the peripheral equipment if no external power source is connected to the trailer.
Storage locations are provided for the setup tools (drill machine, support plates for the outriggers, handles to open or close the interconnection between tiles, grounding cable and pin, battery startup cable, etc.). The trailer also contains an anti-theft clamp for a wheel.

2.3 B-16 Mobile LED tiles
Overview
The B-16 Mobile LED is equipped with T-16 series LED tiles. A ll tiles are c onnected in series via a data path. Each tile picks out a part of the video information of the data s tream on the data path and processes this information for displaying on its LEDs.
Barco uses special designed outdoor sockets for power and data connections from tile to tile and to other peripherals. These rugged sockets are watertight (IP65) when used with the appropriate plugs and sealing rings . Each socket is equipped with a plug holder clamp which, when locked, ensures the plug is completely pressed into the socket.

Overview
The Europower generator contains super-silenced generating sets with a Kubota water-cooled diesel engine.
For more detailed information about the Europower generator, consult the manual of the diesel engine and alternator delivered with each generating set.
The chassis of the generator serves as fuel tank and contains the fuel lter cap, the mechanical fuel level meter, the fuel drain cap, the battery support and the xing support of t he oil drain pum p.
The whole is mounted on 4 anti vibration engine suspensions to prevent vibrations to be transferred to the trailer and permit a more comfortable use of the machinery.

What should be done ?
The trailer must be placed on a stable underground. Then the trailer must be uncoupled from the pulling vehicle and water-levelled in both directions.
How to uncouple
1. P lace the trailer on a at and hard ground (min 2 kg/cm²)
2. Turn down the draw bar support until it reaches the ground.
Use the drill machine with nut driver to lower the support.
3. Trigger the brake system of the trailer.

5.2 Service and Maintenance of the Generator
Parts
The B-16 Mobile LED is equipped with a diesel-fueled generator. T he generator is composed of a diesel motor from Kubota (KUBOTA D1105) and an alternator from Leroy Somer ( LSA 37M8).
Alternator
The alternators are maintenance-free. A periodic check of the alternator is not necessary. A regular visual control o f the different alternator parts – and especially of the rotor bearing – at ev ery engine maintenance is enough.
Engine
Check engine manual for maintenance intervals.
Below you will ndalistofofficial service centres for the Kubota and Leroy Som er components. Please refer to their respective manual for more detail on these components and their maintenance.
CAUTION: The diesel generator needs after 50h00 its rst maintenance run.
Remarks
In the factory, the radiator has been lled with coolant for use up to -1 5°C.
The engine has been lled in the factory with 10W 40 oil (up to -20°C). If a lower temperature is needed, ll with 5W40 oil (up to
-30°C).
