Moving Parts
Neverplacehands,feet,any bodypartsorclothingneartheengine, wheels,chainandotherrotatingpartsofthevehiclewhileridingor runningtheengine.
Useextremecautionwhenperformingrequiredmaintenancewhile theengineis running.
Keepguardsandpadsin placeatall times.Preventaccidental contactbyanypersonwheneverthevehicleisrunning.
Theguardsoverthebrake,clutch,torque-converter,axleanddrive sprocketsalsohelppreventmudanddebrisfrom contactingthose components.

Stopthevehicleandshutoffthe engineimmediatelyif thevehicle makesunusualnoisesorvibrations.Checkthevehiclefor damage. Excessivenoiseorvibrationisa signoflooseorwornparts.
Donotusethisvehicleon rentaltracksofanykind.

Keeptheengine/motorfreeof dirtanddebris,especiallyinthe throttlelinkagearea.
Neverstartthe engine/motorwithoutcheckingto seethatthe throttle controlisinthe idlepositionandthatthe parkingbrakeisset.
Neverstartthe engine/motorunlessyouareproperlyseatedwith yourhandsfirmly onthecontrols.
Nevertamperwith,alter,orchangethevehicle'sengine/motor settings.Theengine/motorgovernorisfactory set andprotects theengine/motorfrom damage.Excessiveengine/motorspeedis potentiallydangeroustotheoperator,bystanders,andtheengine/
motoritself.
Allguardsmustbein placepriortostartingtheengine.
Operatingthevehicleinconditionswherewater,mud,snow,dirt, sandor otherdebriscangetintothethrottlecableconduitand/orthe
throttlemechanismcancausethecableor throttlemechanismto bind,whichmayleadto throttlesticking,lossof control,and
possibledeath,injury,and/orpropertydamage.
Fasteners
Makesurethat allscrews,nuts,andboltsareproperlytightened. Neverover-tightenhardwarethatisdesignedtomove,suchasfront wheels,spindles,A-armpivots,etc.Restrictingmovingpartscan causea lossofcontrolandpossibleinjuryordeath.
Alwaysreplacetorque-typeIocknutswith newIocknutsof thesame typeafterremovingtheold Iocknuts.

Fueling
Checkthefuel supplybeforeeachuse.Neverfill thefuel tankwhile theengineis runningorhot.Alwaysallowat least1in.ofexpansion spaceatthetop ofthe fuel tank.Thereshouldnotbeanyfuel in the
filler neck.Replacethefuel captightlyafterrefuelingtopreventa fuel spillage,fire,orexplosionhazard.
Alwaysuseanoriginalgascapor anapprovedOEMreplacement. Neverfill fuel tankwhile thevehicleisinsideabuilding.Gasoline vaporscancauseinjuryordeathandcanposea fire orexplosion
risk.
Movethevehicleat least10ft. beforestartingtheengine.
Useextremecautionwhenstartingtheengine.Hotengine,muffler, ordrivecomponentscan causeseriousburnsoncontact.
Maintenance
Donotmodifythevehiclefrom the manufacturer'soriginaldesign andconfiguration.
Neverwashoroperatethevehicleinfreezing temperatures.Water canfreezein thethrottlecableconduitand/oronthethrottle
mechanism,possiblyresultingin throttlesticking,whichcancause theengineto continuetorunandresultin lossof control.
Assembly,maintenance,and/orrepairofthisvehicleshouldonlybe performedbydesignateddealersorauthorizedsmall-enginerepair centersfor enginerepairsto ensurequalityworkandsafevehicle
condition.
Alwaysdisconnectthesparkplugwire(gasolinevehicles)or shut offthe batteries(electricvehicles)beforecommencinganyworkin theenginevicinityorwherethereis a possibilitythatthevehicle couldmoveunexpectedly.Keepthe sparkplugcableawayform the sparkplugto avoidaccidentalstarting.
Avoidcontactingthemuffler,cylinderhead,or anypotentiallyhot areaonor aroundtheenginewhenworkingon,around,or restarting theengine.
