Model ER-6/R (Remote) Digital Resettable Totalizer

DESCRIPTION

The Badger Meter® Model ER-6 register is a remote totalizer designed for use with all Badger Meter meter product lines. A rear adapter plate is provided for attachment to a wall or other suitable surface.

The ER-6 is only offered in the remote style as it requires a scaled pulse input from the meter. The unit is battery powered.

The totalizing function uses an easy-to-read, 8-digit numeric LCD display. The display can be reset to zero from the front panel button or from an external switch wired directly to a rear terminal. The front panel Reset button can be inhibited.

You can backlight the display by connecting a DC power source to the unit.

When the battery is low, an indicator appears on the screen a couple weeks before the end of the battery life to remind the operator that the battery is in need of replacement.

OPERATION

The ER-6 simply totalizes all pulses received. If a scaled pulse is not available, consider using the Model ER-9 or ER-10 units, which have a scaling feature.
