Remark;
This mounting manual describes in short the
mounting of the AXA Remote Ventilation
Suitable for:
Skylights and other top hung outward turning
windows.

activate the unit with the

chain come out of the unit
Determine and mark the
middle of the window

!! place the V groove of the jig on the marked
center of the window

Place the drilling jig

(predrill Ø 3 mm)
Use for fixing the drilling jig screws
4 x 30 mm
TIP! Use the Quick Windowfix (art. nr.2009-0296K) or a screw to close the window, drill a pilot
hole 3mm

Predrill through the hole of
the drilling jig the holes for
the mounting plates

Then remove the jig

Mount the window plate
Size screws 4,5 x 40 mm

Remove any obstacles on
the window frame

When using an electric drill
do the last (screw)rotations
by hand!

!! Check whether the
screw on the
slidingblock is
2mm
If not adjust

Mount the sliding block

Place the chain in the
windowplate

TIP!
The drilling jig can be placed on the hook on
the left side of the unit

Use the drilling jig
to place the unit parallel
on the window

!!
• Make sure that the unit is parallel on
the window, press the unit towards the
window!
• The unit must close with a clear click
and the led light has to lite up for a brief
moment.

Close the window with the
remote control

!!
When the led light keeps on flashing, the
unit has not closed properly and the unit
needs to be slightly adjusted, see 19

Check whether the unit
works

When there
is too much
movement on the
window you must
turn the allen key
counterclockwise
When the
unit is too tight
turn the allen key
clockwise
Adjust the unit
!!
Make small turns and check the
functioning everytime until the optimal
functioning is achieved.
