AMPLIFIERS WITH DC PASS
Thank you for choosing this Mercury AMS series distribution amplifier. It is designed to amplify weak FM/DAB/TV signals from the aerial and distribute them to multiple outputs, ideal for use with passive indoor aerials or to distribute the analogue RF2 signal from a satellite receiver.

SPECIFICATION:
INSTALLATION:
Before install please ensure all devices to be connected to the amplifier are switched off and disconnected from the mains. The unit is designed to be connected with ”F” connectors for a secure connection, for coax connector (RF/IEC-169-2/Belling-Lee), a coax to Fconnector adaptor can be used.
EXAMPLE INSTALLATION:
130.034UK, 130.035UK User Manual
The diagram above shows a basic example of distributing TV signal from a single aerial source. If all TV sets are digital TV compatible, set top boxes will not be required, and the aerial can be plugged into the amplifier directly.
Distribution of satellite signal:
The diagram above shows how the analogue signal from a satellite receiver can be distributed. Because the AMS series amplifier is designed with DC pass, all 4 TV’s can be set up with “Magic eye” remote extension units, which allow remote control of the satellite receiver. This is achieved by connecting the RF2 output of the satellite receiver to the input of the amplifier.
Please note: only one satellite channel can be viewed at any particular time from the satellite receiver. AMS series amplifiers do not require setup to operate, for satellite receiver set up please refer to your satellite receiver manual.

Distribution of VHF/UHF
AMS amplifiers can also be used to distribute both radio and TV signals, this will required a VHF/UHF diplexer to combine the signals to a single input.
