The HDM-SPLITPRO-4A 4x1 Quad Multiviewer Scaler with Rotation, Chromakey and Audio and audio has been tested for
conformance to safety regulations and requirements, and has been certified for international use. However, like all electronic
equipments, the HDM-SPLITPRO-4A should be used with care. Read the following safety instructions to protect yourself from
possible injury and to minimize the risk of damage to the unit.

2. INTRODUCTION
Introduction to HDM-SPLITPRO-4A
This 4 x1 Multiviewer Scaler was developed for the growing demand in the security videoconference and sporting events.
This 1U HDMI device can accept 4 HDMI input digital sources and then combine (4) four video signals onto a single HDMI HD
Monitor The user can easily manage each input via the Menu settings and create any layout and position of any of the 4 (four)
Inputs on a single Monitor. This device supports full range of video resolutions up to WUXGA@60 (RB) or Full HD1080p and
audio supported up to 8-channel LPCM with 192 kHz sampling rate for both input and output. Audio channels can be selected
to playback with input or can be muted.
Seamless Switching, Fade In Out – This device can input any 4 HDMI input digital sources and then combine, (4) four video
signals onto a single HDMI HD Monitor. The user will benefit with from its processing power to seamlessly switch between the
8 different Hot key function via, IR Remote, Telnet, Rs232 or Front Panel buttons.
Zoom In/out – This device can Zoom In/Out any 4 HDMI input digital sources and then combine, (4) four video signals onto
a single HDMI HD Monitor. This device can be configured using the OSD, IR Remote, Telnet, Rs232 or Front Panel buttons to
set the desired layout configuration.
PIP,POP, Overlay – This device can input any 4 HDMI digital sources and then combine, (4) four video signals onto a single
HDMI HD Monitor, which the user can select Picture In Picture (PIP) , Picture on Picture (POP) or Overlay with the OSD, IR
Remote, Telnet, Rs232 or Front Panel buttons to set the desired layout configuration.
Channel Size and Position – The user can easily change the individual channel size and choose different position and layout
on the single monitor with the OSD, IR Remote, Telnet, Rs232 or Front Panel buttons to set the desired layout configuration.
Rotation (90˚ & 180˚) & Mirror – The user can easily Rotate the image 90˚ left and right also Mirror the image. This device
can be configured with the OSD, IR Remote, Telnet, Rs232 or Front Panel buttons to set the desired layout configuration.
Chromakey – This device can input 4 HDMI digital sources but only utilize (2) two Inputs for this technique layering two images
or video streams together based on color hues (chroma range). Where CH1 is the background and CH 2 is the top image. This
device can be configured with the OSD, IR Remote, Telnet, Rs232 or Front Panel buttons to set the desired layout configuration.
It is commonly used for weather forecast broadcasts, wherein a news presenter is usually seen standing in front of a large
CGI map during live television newscasts, though in actuality it is a large blue or green background. When using a blue screen,
different weather maps are added on the parts of the image where the color is blue. If the news presenter wears blue clothes,
his or her clothes will also be replaced with the background video. A complementary system is used for green screens. Chroma
keying is also used in the entertainment industry for special effects in movies and videogames. The advanced state of the
technology and much commercially availablecomputer software, such as Autodesk Smoke Final Cut Pro Pinnacle Studio Adobe
After Effects, and dozens of other computer programs, makes it possible and relatively easy for the average home computer
user to create videos using the "Chromakey" function with HDM-SPLITPRO-4A.

2.2BEFORE INSTALLATION
• Put the product in an even and stable location. If the product falls down or drops, it may cause an injury or malfunction.
• Don’t place the product in too high temperature (over 50°C), too low temperature (under 0°C) or high humidity.
• Use the DC power adapter with correct specifications. If inappropriate power supply is used then it may cause a fire.
• Do not twist or pull by force ends of the video cable. It can cause malfunction.

3.PANEL DESCRIPTION

Windows A~D's buttons is corresponding to Channel select No. 1~4. To change window A's input channel must press
Channel select 1's button. Channel select 2~4's button will not activate under window A's selection.

- Window E~H when overlapping during custom setup, the channel display sequence is CH4 Is the First Channel > CH3
> CH2 >CH1 is last channel.
* Some display/monitor brands the borderline may have interference, adjusting the display's motion setting may resolve the
interference issue.

4.IR REMOTE CONTROL

5. MUTE BUTTON: To mute the audio from the HDMI output ports.
6. NAVIGATION BUTTONS: ////OK to scroll through the OSD

9. FAVOURITE BUTTONS 1-4: These buttons quickly recall the user

10. FADE-IN-OUT: Press this button to TOGGLE ON/OFF the Fade-in-out
function.
11. CHROMAKEY: This button TOGGLES ON/OFF the Chroma function
where CH 1 is the Background and CH 2 is the top image.
12. MIRROR: To change the image to a reflected duplication of the source
that appears identical but reversed
13. ROTATION: This button rotates the image 90˚ left and right or 180˚
14. AUDIO 1-4: These buttons select AUDIO from HDMI input source 1~4.
* Audio Function only work under A to D.
The system will force to switch to Window A when operate under Window

4.1INSTALLATION (HDM-SPLITPRO-4A)
HARDWARE SETUP
To setup Avenview HDM-SPLITPRO-4A follow these steps below:
1. Mount or fix the HDM-SPLITPRO-4A on a secure shelf, AV rack or steady surface;
2. Ensure the power is off on the HDM-SPLITPRO-4A, all source devices and displays that will be connected;
3. Connect your (4) four HDMII cables to the (4) four HDMI sources such as (Blu-ray Player, Laptop or Set-Top-Box or
Gaming device);
4. Connect your HDMI cables to the single HD Displays, LCD or PC Monitors that is receiving the video signals.
5. Power on all devices.
6. Connect your computer to HDM-SPLITPRO-4A via RS232, RS-232 to USB or Ethernet cable in order to control via
Telnet or RS232.
AVENVIEW CORP. (“Avenview”) warrants Avenview-branded product(s) contained in the original packaging against defects in materials and workmanship when used
normally in accordance with Avenview's enclosed manual guidelines for a period of THREE (3) YEARS from the date of original retail purchase - Warranty Period. Avenview’s
published guidelines include but are not limited to information contained in technical specifications, user manuals and service communications.
LABOR: During the Warranty Period of THREE (3) YEARS, Avenview will repair or replace the product(s) at no cost using new or used parts equivalent to novel performance
and reliability if the product(s) is determined to have abide by Avenview’s published guidelines. Cost of Labor applicable to product(s) after Warranty Period. For labor costs,
please contact support@avenview.com.
PARTS: During the Warranty Period of of THREE (3) YEARS, Avenview will supply new or rebuilt replacements in exchange for defective parts of the product(s) at no cost if
the product(s) is determined to have abide by Avenview’s published guidelines. Cost of Parts applicable to product(s) after Warranty Period. For part(s) costs, please contact
support@avenview.com.
To obtain Warranty: (a) proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale or receipted invoice reflecting that the registered product(s) is within warranty period must be presented
to obtain warranty service; (b) product(s) must be registered at time of purchase. Failure to do so will result in applicable parts and labor charges. Returning product(s) must
be shipped in Avenview’s original packaging or in packaging pertaining equal degree of protection to Avenview’s. Both Avenview and purchaser are responsible for freight
charges and brokerages when shipping the product(s) to the receiver.
This warranty does not apply to any non-Avenview branded product(s); non-registered Avenview product(s). This warranty does not apply: (a) to cosmetic damage, including
but not limited to scratches, dents and broken cords; (b) to damage caused by use with another product; (c) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact, fire,
earthquake or other external cause; (d) to damage caused by operating the Avenview product(s) outside Avenview’s manuals or guidelines; (e) to damage caused by service
performed by anyone who is not a representative of A venview or an Avenview authorized personnel; (f) to defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the
normal aging of the Avenview product(s), or (g) if any serial number has been removed or defaced from the Avenview product(s).
AVENVIEW IS NOT LIABLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR
CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF USE; LOSS OF REVENUE; LOSS OF ACTUAL OR
ANTICIPATED PROFITS (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS ON CONTRACTS); LOSS OF THE USE OF MONEY; LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS; LOSS OF BUSINESS;
LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY; LOSS OF GOODWILL; LOSS OF REPUTATI ON; LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO, COMPROMISE OR CORRUPTION OF DATA; OR ANY INDIR ECT
OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE CONSUMER.
Some states do not allow the inclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or allow limitations on duration implements of the Warranty Period; therefore the above limitations or
exclusions may not be applicable to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.
