Connecting Controller
Take the IR-Controller cable jack and insert it into the headphone socket of the
iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad as shown below.
Please Note: When connecting the receiver to the device please ensure you push it hard
until it clicks to ensure it works correctly.
Velcro hook and loop are provided for the IR-Controller for suitable positioning of
the receiver. IR-Controller will be able to operate within a 4 metre range of the
receiver.

Remote Settings
Before you are able to use the IR–Controller you must set the correct ‘Remote
Type’ within the software. To adjust the settings for the remote control tap the
‘Settings’ button at the bottom of the ‘Documents’ and scroll down to ‘Remote
Settings’, you will then see an option labelled ‘Remote Type’ set this to ‘Wireless
V2’. Below the table shows the recommended “fast” and “slow” times depending
on the font size of the script.

setting will depend on scripts and personal preferences.

Start/Stop & Pause
To start the script use the play button in the centre and press again to pause.
Pressing the menu button will bring up the menu bar so you can exit the app
back to settings/scripts screen. When stopped via the menu button the text can
be scrolled using your finger by scrolling up or down on the touch screen
device.
Increase/Decrease Speed
To increase or decrease the scrolling speed of the script use the “+” and “-”
buttons. Each press increases or decreases the speed one increment. The
remote control will allow you to increase or decrease the speed to within 3
increments of the ‘Scrolling Speed’ set in the applications settings menu. For
example if the ‘Scrolling Speed’ is set to 5 you can increase up to 8 or decrease
down to 2.Experiment using settings and carriage returns in script for extended
pauses.

Break Markers
A ‘Break Marker’ is a character embedded into your script that you can use to
jump to certain points within the script using the IR-Controller. The default

To jump between break markers pause the script using the remote, then use the
