2.Plug the connector from the battery into the DC-IN 9V jack on the side of the main DVD/ screen.
Condition and attention:
• When the battery power is low, the unit will stop operating.
• Do not short-circuit the terminals.
• The battery can only be recharged when the unit is OFF.
• Use only the included AC adapter to recharge the battery pack.
• Detach the rechargeable battery pack when not in use. (Even if the unit is off, it will still use some power. This can completely discharge the rechargeable battery and cause it to malfunction.)
• Recharge the battery when you are ready to use it again.
• If the rechargeable battery pack is not going to be used for a long time, discharge it and store it in a place that is cool, dry and dark.
• While using the rechargeable battery, the air temperature should be between 41 - 95°F (5 ­35°C).
• To maximize the life of the rechargeable battery pack, recharge it at or below room temperature.
• Never dispose of the rechargeable battery pack in fire or water.
• Do not open the rechargeable battery, refer servicing to qualified personnel.

Using the AC adapter
This unit can also be powered using the included AC adapter.
Charging the battery pack
Charge the rechargeable battery pack before using it for the first time.
When charging the battery, disconnect it from the unit.
USING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY PACK
Important:
• If a malfunction occurs, disconnect the plug from the wall outlet at once.
• When the AC power supply cord is connected, the power indicator on the AC adapter will remain on although the unit is turned off. Disconnect the power cord from outlet when not in use.
• When the adapter is plugged in, the apparatus is not completely disconnected from the main power supply, even when the power is turned off.
Cautions:
• Use of an incorrect type AC adapter will damage the unit.
• Turn off the unit before unplugging the AC adapter from the unit to avoid damage to the unit.
• To prevent electrical shock, match wide blade of plug to wide slot and fully insert.
• When the unit is not going to be used for a long time, disconnect the AC power supply cord from the AC outlet.
Caution:
• The included AC power supply cord and AC adapter are for use with your Audiovox PVS69701 only.
• When the unit is not going to be used for a long time, disconnect the AC power supply cord from the AC outlet.
Note:
The rechargeable battery pack only provides power to the main DVD player/screen. It does not power the second monitor.
1.To charge the battery, connect the included AC power adapter to the DC-IN 9V jack on the battery.
2.When the battery is charging, both the power light and the charging light will illuminate.
3.When the battery is finished charging, the charging light will turn off. Disconnect the AC power adapter from the battery.
1.Plug the AC adapter into the DC-IN 9-12V jack on the second screen.
2.Connect the main DVD unit and the second screen using the DC Line Cord included with the main unit.
Note:
The battery cannot be charged when it is connected to the main unit.
