Text Messaging
Your Bell Mobility cellphone is set up to take advantage of our
Text Messaging service. It is quick, convenient and easy to use,
especially for times when you need to get a message to someone
and calling isn't an option.
Text Messaging service keeps you in touch for only 10¢ per message
sent and free to receive! Plus, save with no long distance charges
on messages you exchange in Canada and send to the United States
and internationally for 20 cents a message and free to receive.

Texting Made Easy with Rapid Entry (T9)
The T9 function on your cellphone saves you from having to press
your mobile keys repeatedly in order to get the letter that you want.
Instead, you just press the key once and then go on to the next letter.
For example: try typing 43556 when in T9 mode, you should get
the word “Hello”.
Hint: if the correct word that you want doesn't come up, hit to scroll
through other words that have the same number combination.

Send a message
1. Press to scroll to Messaging option and press .
2. A ‘Send to' field will appear allowing you to enter up to 10 mobile
numbers that you would like the message sent to.
3. Begin typing the 10-digit cellphone number or email address that
you would like to send the message to and select OK.
4. Type the message that you would like to send and select OK.
5. Select the Send key to send your message. You can also select the
Options key if you wish to save the message and send it later. You can
select the down arrow and change the priority to ‘Urgent' if you
would like the message to be marked “Urgent”.
6 To change text mode (T9, Alphabet, etc.) press the after you
have entered the phone number, or email address and pressed select,
scroll through the options and press to select the option desired.
When finished typing your message, press OK to send and to
select another option.
Retrieve a message
1. Press to scroll to messaging option and press .
2. Scroll down to option number 4 which is Inbox and select OK to view
the message.
3. To respond, select and Reply should be highlighted and
select OK. Type your message and select OK and then Send to send
your message.

to the Mobile Browser.
Using the keys
From the home screen, press the top left key to access the menu
option, then scroll using the down arrow and press .

Taking a picture
1. Press and hold it and you will automatically go into camera
mode. Press to take a picture or to go back to the main screen.
2. Press the and this will take you to the camera menu which
will take you to the camera option where you hit again
to select the camera options. Press OK to send a picture, enter in
a phone number or email address and select Send.
Sending a picture
1. After you've taken the picture, press the Options soft key ‘Next'
which will bring you to a functions menu, select Send and after
you select Send by pressing then type in the phone number
or email depending on who you want to send it to.
2. Choose one of the three options to send a message (from
mobile #, email address or a combination of the two) by scrolling
to the option desired and pressing the button. Enter up to ten
mobile phone numbers and/or email addresses (press button
following each entry), and press to select Options or to
select Send.
3. Use your keypad to enter a text message of up to 120 characters
and you can enter a voice memo also. When finished typing your
message, select Send and it will begin to upload your picture and
therefore send your image to the intended recipient(s). Once you
have sent a picture, a copy will automatically be saved in your
online album.
How much does it cost?
For $5 a month, you can send 10 pictures – each additional sent picture
costs only 50¢. Unlimited Mobile Browser service is also included in the
$5 per month charge. Send a picture to as many as 10 people at one
time at no additional cost.
