DECT8601
Diese Zusatzbedienungsanleitung beschreibt die Inbetriebnahme
weiterer Handapparate am AUDIOLINE DECT8600SIM oder einem
anderen DECT/GAP Schnurlostelefonsystem. Allerdings stehen nur in
Verbindung mit dem AUDIOLINE DECT8600SIM alle Funktionen zur
Verfügung, die dieser Handapparat unterstützt. Bei der Verwendung
von mehreren DECT8601 Handapparaten können SMS-Nachrichten an
jedem Handapparat entgegengenommen werden.

LIEFERUMFANG
In der Verpackung befinden sich folgende Teile:
ein Handapparat mit Standardakkus ein Gürtelclip
eine Ladestation ein Steckernetzteil
ein Headset eine Bedienungsanleitung
STANDARD-AKKUS EINBAUEN
Um die mitgelieferten wiederaufladbaren Standard-Akkus in den
Handapparat einzulegen, drücken Sie auf den Batteriefachdeckel am
oberen Rand und schieben Sie diesen nach unten. Legen Sie nun die
Batterien ein und achten Sie auf die richtige Polung. Schließen Sie den
Batteriefachdeckel.

Wichtiger Hinweis: Stellen Sie den Handapparat mit dem Display nach
vorne für mindestens 16 Stunden auf die Basisstation. Bei nicht
richtig geladenen Batterien kann es zu Fehlfunktionen des Telefons
kommen. An der Basisstation leuchtet die Ladekontrollleuchte.
LADESTATION ANSCHLIESSEN
Stellen Sie die Ladestation für den zweiten Handapparat in der Nähe
einer Netzsteckdose auf. Stecken Sie das Steckernetzteil in eine
vorschriftsmässig installierte Netzsteckdose mit 230V.
HANDAPPARAT AN BASISSTATION DECT8600SIM
ANMELDEN
Nachdem die Batterien in den neuen Handapparat eingebaut wurden,
zeigt das Display Anmelden?.
Hinweis: Ist der Handapparat bereits an einer anderen Basisstation
angemeldet, gehen Sie bitte zum Menüpunkt Anmelden. Wählen Sie
dort Anmelden und wählen Sie dann die Nummer der nächsten
Basisstation aus. Fahren Sie dann mit der Eingabe den PIN-Codes fort.
Display zeigt Anmelden?
Displaytaste Ja drücken.
Wählen Sie nun an welche Basisstation Sie den Handapparat
anmelden möchten. Bei einer vorhandenen Basisstation drücken Sie
die Zahl 1 und die Displaytaste OK.
Geben Sie den SYS PIN (Werkseinstellung 0000) ein und bestätigen
Sie mit OK.
Drücken Sie nun an der Basisstation die Taste bis die LED an
der Basisstation blinkt.
Der Handapparat sucht die Basisstation und nach einigen Sekunden
ist der Handapparat angemeldet. Der Handapparat erhält automatisch
die nächste freie interne Rufnummer zwischen 2 und 6.

Display zeigt Anmelden?
Displaytaste Ja drücken.
Wählen Sie nun an welche Basisstation Sie den Handapparat
anmelden möchten. Bei einer vorhandenen Basisstation drücken Sie
die Zahl 1 und die Displaytaste OK.
Geben Sie den SYS PIN der ausgewählten Basisstation ein und
bestätigen Sie mit OK.
Bringen Sie nun die entsprechende Basisstation in den
Registriermodus. Beachten Sie dazu die Hinweise in der
entsprechenden Bedienungsanleitung. Der Handapparat sucht die
Basisstation und nach einigen Sekunden ist der Handapparat
angemeldet.
Hinweis: Ist der Handapparat bereits an einer anderen Basisstation
angemeldet, gehen Sie bitte zum Menüpunkt Anmelden. Wählen Sie
dort Anmelden und wählen Sie dann die Nummer der nächsten
Basisstation aus. Fahren Sie dann mit der Eingabe den PIN-Codes fort.

WALKIE-TALKIE-FUNKTION ZWISCHEN
HANDAPPARATEN
Bei der Verwendung von mehreren Handapparaten können Sie die
Handapparate als Sprechfunkgeräte benutzen. Während der WalkieTalkie-Funktion werden die Handapparate von der Basisstation
abgemeldet. Externe Gespräche können während dieser Zeit nicht
entgegengenommen werden. Die Reichweite zwischen zwei
Handapparaten beträgt Innen bis zu 50m und im Freien bis zu 300m.
Bereiten Sie die Handapparate wie folgt vor:

Mit und WalkieTalkie auswählen und OK drücken.
Das Display zeigt nun die angemeldeten Handapparate.
Um einen anderen Handapparat zu rufen, drücken Sie die interne
Nummer des gewünschten Handapparates auf dem Zahlenfeld.
Der Handapparat klingelt und das Gespräch kann normal mit der
Gesprächstaste

These supplemental operating instructions describe how install
additional handsets with the AUDIOLINE DECT8600SIM and other
DECT/GAP cordless telephone systems. However, all functions
supported by this handset are available only in conjunction with the
AUDIOLINE DECT8600SIM. When you are using several DECT8601
telephone handsets, SMS messages can be received at each telephone
handset.

SCOPE OF SUPPLY
The following parts are enclosed in the package:

FITTING STANDARD BATTERIES
To fit the standard rechargeable batteries supplied into the handset,
press on the upper edge of the battery compartment and slide it
downwards. Now insert the batteries taking care to ensure that the
polarity is correct. Close the battery compartment cover.
Important note: Place the handset in the base station with the display
to the front for at least 16 hours. The telephone may malfunction if the
batteries are not properly charged. The charging light on the base
station will come on.

CONNECTING THE CHARGER
Set up the charger for the second handset within reach of an electrical
outlet.
Plug the transformer plug in a correctly installed 230 volt electrical
outlet.
LOGGING ON A HANDSET TO THE DECT8600SIM BASE
STATION
When the batteries have been fitted in the new handset, the display
shows Register?.
Note: If the handset is already logged-on to another base station,
please go to Register in the menu. Here, select Register and then
select the number of the nearest base station. Then continue with the
entry of the PIN code.

Now select which base station you want to log the handset on to. With
one existing base station, press the number 1 and the OK display
button.
Enter the SYS PIN (factory setting 0000) and confirm with OK.
Now press the button on the base station until the LED on the
base station flashes.
The handset will search for the base station and after a few seconds
the handset will be logged-on. The handset will automatically be
allocated the next free internal phone number between 2 and 6.

LOGGING ON A HANDSET TO ANOTHER DECT/GAP BASE
STATION SYSTEM OR A THIRD PARTY BASE STATION
Display shows Register?
Press the Yes display button
Now select which base station you want to log the handset on to. With
one existing base station, press the number 1 and the OK display
button.
Enter the SYS PIN for the selected base station and confirm with OK.
Now switch the appropriate base station to registration mode. To do
this, follow the instructions in the appropriate operating manual. The
handset will search for the base station and after a few seconds the
handset will be logged-on.
Note: If the handset is already logged-on to another base station,
please go to Register in the menu. Here, select Register and then
select the number of the nearest base station. Then continue with the
entry of the PIN code.

WALKIE-TALKIE FUNCTION BETWEEN HANDSETS
When you use several handsets, these can be used as walkie-talkies.
In the walkie-talkie mode, the handsets are logged off from the base
station. It is not possible to receive external calls during this time. The
range between two handsets is up to 50 m indoors and up to 300 m
outdoors.
Prepare the handsets as follows:
Press the Menu display button
Select WalkieTalkie with and and press OK.
The display now shows the handsets that are logged on.
To call another handset, press the internal number of the required
handset on the number pad.
The handset will ring and the call can be accepted with the call button
