Installation & setup

Place handset in
charger for at least
16 hours before
first use.

Plug power adapter
into jack on under­side of charger as
shown, then plug
into an electrical
outlet not controlled
by a wall switch.

Plug the larger
power adapter
into an
electrical outlet
not controlled
by a wall switch,
and plug the
other end into the
bottom of the tel­ephone base.

Plug one end of
the telephone line
cord into a modu­lar telephone jack,
and the other end
into the telephone
jack at the bottom
of the telephone
base.

Place the battery and
wires neatly inside
the compartment.

Press in and downward
on the tab to open the
battery compartment
cover.

Slide battery
compartment cover
towards the center
until it clicks closed.

Plug the battery connec­tor into handset battery
compartment, matching the
color coded label.

1. Use only the power cord supplied with this product. If you need a replacement, call 1 [phone].

2. Be sure to use an electrical outlet not controlled by a wall switch.

After battery installation, place the cordless handset in the telephone base or charger and
allow to charge for at least 16 hours before use. Keep the battery charged by returning
the cordless handset to the telephone base or charger after each use. When the battery
is fully depleted, a recharge takes about 16 hours. The talk time on a fully charged battery is
about five hours depending on environmental conditions, and the standby time is approxi­mately five days. Actual battery life depends on usage conditions, and age of battery.
