1 Introduction

The Atmel® MEGA-1284P Xplained evaluation kit is a hardware platform to
evaluate the Atmel ATmega1284P microcontroller.

The kit offers a range of features that enables the Atmel megaAVR
started using megaAVR peripherals right away and understand how to integrate
the megaAVR de vice in their own design. This getti ng started guide will take you
through all the basic steps needed to start using the MEGA-1284P Xplained
evaluation kit.
