Light comes on half bright for selected time after dusk (Off, 3 hr., 6 hr., until dawn). If motion is sensed, the light turns on full bright for the ON-TIME (1, 5, or 20 minutes) then returns to dim mode.

INSTALLATION
Turn power off at circuit breaker. On existing installations, remove the light
from the top of the post. Keep the wire connectors to make the connections to the top of the sensor. CAUTION: When handling the sensor be careful not to pinch or distort the lens. You may break the seal and cause windblown rain to enter the sensor.
Remove the three screws around the
bottom edge of the sensor. Save these screws for later use.
Set the controls on the bottom as shown:
ON-TIME to TEST, Dual Light Level (ACCENT) OFF, and Sensitivity to mid-position.

ADJUSTMENTS
Turn on the circuit breaker and light
switch.
NOTE: Sensor has a 1 1/2 minute warm up
period before it will detect motion. When first turned on or when switching from Manual to Auto mode wait 1 1/2 minute.
Avoid aiming the control at:
• Objects that change temperature rapidly,
such as heating vents and air condition- ers. These heat sources could cause false triggering.
• Areas where pets or traffic may trigger the
control.
Nearby large, light-colored objects
reflecting light may trigger the shut-off feature. Do not point other lights at the sensor.

The detector is less sensitive to motion directly towards it and more sensitive to across motion.

Walk through the coverage area noting
where you are when the lights turn on. Loosen the 3 clamp screws slightly and turn the sensor head left or right to change the coverage area.

Sensor
When you have the desired coverage
angle make a pencil mark on the sensor and post to mark the sensor position.
If you need to change the sensitivity,
temporarily lift the fixture and sensor to make the adjustment. It may be necessary to have a friend hold the fixture while adjusting the sensitivity. Too much sensitivity may increase false triggering.
Set the amount of ON TIME you want the
light to stay on after motion is detected. (1, 5, or 20 minutes).
TEST 1 5 20 MIN
Set the Dual Light Level (ACCENT)
switch to the amount of time after dusk you want the lights on at low level (Off, 3, 6 Hrs., Dusk-to-Dawn).
Put the sensor and fixture back in place.
Align the pencil marks made above. Tighten the three screws to secure the sensor.

Securing Brass &
Plastic Post Lamps
Turn power off at circuit breaker. Turn the post lamp to the desired loca-
tion. Using a #31 drill and the fixture as a template slightly mark the location of one of the fixture mounting holes. DO NOT drill through the sensor plastic.
Lift the fixture off the sensor and keep
the wires away from where you need to drill. Now finish drilling the first hole.
Set the fixture in position and install a
screw (provided) to hold the fixture.
Mark the remaining holes as above. Remove the one screw and lift the fixture
and drill the remaining holes as above.
Set the fixture in position and install all the
screws (3 provided). Be careful to not over tighten the screws and strip out the plastic.
