Our newly-styled tweeter island is more than just another pretty face—the speakers’ high-frequency response is even smoother than the original!

The ICTS-8.3e and 6.3e TriMode™ ceiling mount speakers are the perfect high quality, multi-purpose solutions for any surround-sound or whole-house music installations where stealth is a key requirement. Their unique dual voice coil woofers and dual 1” soft-dome tweeters allow them to be conﬁgured for mono, stereo, or TriVector™ Surround (partial dipole) operation, providing the best coverage for every application. With a discreet proﬁle combined with great sound and easy installation, there are no excuses for not having great music and special effects wherever you want them!

The ICTS-8.3e and 6.3e feature carbon loaded mica/poly cones, rubber surrounds, high-temperature voice coils, advanced computer optimized crossovers, gold-plated heavy-duty connectors, and simple rotating clamp mounting. A front mounted Normal/TriVector™ selector and High Frequency level control round out the feature set of these high-performance speakers.

Simply put, these innovative ceiling speakers make it possible to have spectacular sound in almost any room in your home, and they are ideal for delivering superior surround sound effects when room layout or aesthetic considerations preclude mounting conventional rear-channel surround speakers on the walls.

Beneﬁts of Atlantic’s Unique TriMode Operation

Mono – The dual voice coil woofers and dual tweeters can be wired to produce a mono signal and then used in pairs for standard stereo music reproduction.

Stereo – The speaker can be wired to deliver full 2-channel stereo sound from a single loudspeaker, giving you great sound quality with only one unobtrusive round ceiling grille showing. This is ideal for small spaces like a dressing area/master closet or a small hallway where installing two separate speakers is impractical.

High Frequency Level Control

TriVector Surround – Wired in this manner the speaker delivers a diffuse upper midrange and high frequency sound that helps to create a convincing, three-dimensional surround sound that draws you into the action.

High Frequency Level Control – This 3-position switch (–, 0, +) allows the speakers’ high-frequency balance to be tailored for reﬂective, normal, and absorptive acoustic environments. This means the speakers will always sound “right,” whether the room has hardwood ﬂoors and glass sliding doors, or thick cut-pile carpeting and overstuffed furniture.
