RECOMMENDED CONNECTION METHOD

POINT 5 MK II SYSTEM

The recommended hook up for the Point 5 MK II system is as follows:

• Utilizing good quality speaker cable, connect the four S.5 satellites and the C.5 center
channel directly to the receiver or multi-channel amplifier in the appropriate channels

• Connect the Active Subwoofer using a single RCA connector from the Receivers' subwoofer
output, to the “Sub In” RCA connector on the rear of the subwoofer.

• Subwoofer Settings:

• Ensure the SCT Control is set to "S.5" position.

• The Bass level control should be set about midway on the range. The final setting for

this is dependent on the room size, the subwoofer output level from the receiver, and
of course personal taste.

• Receiver settings:

• Ensure the Speakers are set to "Large" or "Full Range" as opposed to the "Small"

settings which limit bass response to the speakers

• Set the Subwoofer to "On" or "Use" depending on the brand of receiver.
