Audition Series comes a complete new line-up of
Audition Architectural Series speakers designed for
easy in-wall and in-ceiling installation.
All four models are a 2-way design, and are
timbre-matched to mesh seamlessly with the sound
performance from both the floorstanding and bookshelf
models from athena’s Audition Series. The AS-IW6 is
designed for in-wall use, and the AS-IC6 and AS-IC8
are designed for in-ceiling applications. The unique
AS-IC6st is a stereo in-ceiling speaker, with a dual voice coil woofer and dual tweeters, allowing a stereo signal to be
routed to one speaker for distributed audio.
Put them together and they provide an affordable solution for your home theater environment, but why stop there?
Audition these amazing speakers and you’ll want to wire the whole house up!
All models feature injection-molded cone woofers with rubber
surrounds for high power handling and durability, as well as athena’s
legendary Teteron Dome tweeter design for exceptionally clear high
frequency reproduction. The AS-IW6 features a detachable bezel
allowing you to paint the bezel to match your room’s décor. This
compact in-wall solution also offers a pivoting tweeter to direct the
sound towards the listening position in case the installed speaker is
not in the optimum position. The AS-IW6 also features a unique
two-position high frequency equalizer control which allows you to
compensate for your room’s specific acoustic environment.
All Audition Architectural speakers are sold in pairs, with the exception of the AS-IC6st stereo model, which is
packaged and sold individually.
