EM-6950
LOG PERIODIC ANTENNA
Features
• Wide frequency coverage
• High sensitivity
• Flat frequency response
• Compatible with many measurement instruments
• Individually calibrated with certificate of conformance
Description
The Electro-Metrics EM-6950 Log Periodic Antenna was designed to operate over the
200 MHz to 1 GHz frequency range to meet VDE/FCC, military, and other EMI
specifications.
The broadband frequency capacity of the EM-6950 eliminates the need for band
switching, element extension or external tuning when used for EMI ambient surveys or
spectrum signature measurements.
Applications
The EM-6950 is capable of operating either as a transmitting or as a receiving antenna
over the frequency range of 200 MHz to 1 GHz. Its linearly polarized design permits
separate measurement of horizontal and vertical electric field components over its
established range.
All-Aluminum construction makes it easily portable and suitable for use in applications
where space is limited. The EM-6950 Log Periodic Antenna is fully calibrated and used
primarily for radiated emission and susceptibility specification testing.
