2.3 IR REMOTE CONTROL

There are three types of alarms that the system can be configured,
such as motion detection alarm, external alarm, and video loss alarm.
Motion detection alarm and external alarm:
When motion detection or external alarm was triggered, there are
5 possible actions:
1. Recording speed changed from normal to alarm recording.
2. If Alarm display Mode of alarm setup is ON, when the alarm is
triggered, the corresponding full screen alarm channel will be
displayed automatically; however, if the alarm is triggered and
screen alarm channel won't be displayed.
4. Motion detection and external alarm both will be recorded in the
event list. In motion detection record of Alarm setup, the user
can setup ON or OFF to record the motion event or not.
5. When motion detection was triggered, the color of camera title will
be transformed into yellow. In addition, when external alarm was
triggered, “ALARM”text will be displayed on the screen.
3. It's optional to activate relay.
2.5 VGA OUTPUT
VGA Output optional. VGA output can connect with CRT or
LCD monitor by D-SUB connector
The user can set the VGA resolution and select the system
camera standard (PAL, NTSC).
Resolution : 600×480、800×600、1024×768
2.6 NETWORK
When the DVR is turned on, it will detect the network connection
automatically, If network is disconnected, the network fu nct ion w ill
be disabled. Thus, please make sure the network connection is
established before turning on the DVR.

2.8 Alarm Input and Output
There are 8 sets alarm input connector and 1 set output for this DVR.
Alarm input is for connection IR annunciator, fog sensor.
The connection diagram of DC alarm input as following:
2.7 Connectors for Alarm
Peel off the color skin of the cable and then insert the cable into
the slot on the rear panel DVR (The connection part for alarm).

2.9 Mouse Operation
You can use mouse to make operation of the menu except IR remote
controller. (The operation usage is the same as PC Windows).
Please insert the mouse into USB2.0.

In the real-time monitoring interface will pop-up shortcut
menu in the left menu, click OK to enter operation.

If the user interface is locked, click the right mouse button
shortcut menu that appears when you click on any menu,
pop-up login dialog box interface, respectively, click the
machine ID and password corresponding to the input box and
click to select the input soft keyboard character; if interface is
not locked, in real-time monitoring screen, click the right
mouse button on the shortcut menu where you can operate
directly on the menu.
Click the left key to enter into the setting interface.
Click the left key to zoom in the window on the live view and
playback video. Double click the left key can exit to the live
view and playback multi-window interface.
Volume adjustment, color adjustment, PTZ setting and VGA
border operation. It is for setting the single channel for volume
adjustment, PTZ control and color
In the Motion Detection setting interface, you can use the left
key to drag the frame to set the motion detection area.
When there are many options in the option frame, click left key
to ball out down-pull menu.
In the input frame, click the left key can activate the keyboard.
The number, symbol, English can be input by clicking the
mouse. Also click the left key to exit the number keyboard.
In the main menu and its sub-menu, right key out of the
current menu.

3.0 System Operation
3.01 User Login
1. START-UP
Connect the DC19V/3A adapter to DVR, the system will record
automatically and the corresponding LED will be on, the system starts
DVR system initialization, including file systems, video preparedness.

3.02 Main Interface
After initialization, system will enter the main interface, the next figure
is the system default, with no video input state of the main interface.
If video input, the corresponding channel will be displayed in the main
interface screen monitor. In the main interface, double-click any
channel, the channel can be monitored to maximize the screen display,
double-click again returned four-channel interface; in the main interface,
right-click pop-up shortcut menu, click the left button select the menu
item or click the Exit menu, shortcut menu outside the region.

3.03 SHORTCUT MENU
After the system starts, Click the right mouse button to pop-up
shortcut menu of the DVR system, quick operation, which can
be the main menu, lock, video query, PTZ control, video
settings or control parameters.

3.04 MAIN MENU
Remark:
You must after pressing “APPLY” to make the setting for submenu valid
It will no use when exit directly. This DVR have a special feature:
when you move the mouse to an icon, there will have the explanation
information showed automatically.
KEYLOCK: Click to lock the menu can immediately
lock the system interface, need to enter the login
interface, the device number in brackets shows
and user password to unlock it. Lock interface
after landing the interface as shown. Password
can be set in the user's password menu.

Press MENU on the front panel or remote control. The main menu
includes: SEARCH、RECORD、HDD、BASIC、ADVANCE、EXIT.

3.1 SETUP
Move the cursor to SEARCH, ( Icon highlighted when
selected ) press【 】to enter into the setting interface.
RECORD SEARCH
RECORD FILE: You can adjust the checking date and time, press
【 】【 】/【 】 or input the number directly to adjust the year,
month, date. After finishing the time setting, move the cursor to
“SEARCH” and press “ ” can see the recording status of
this date. As follow:

Instruction:
1. MONTH: It will show all the recording status in this month. Green
means normal recording; Red means alarm recording; Grounding
means no recording. Click any date in this frame can search the
recording status of that day, the searching result will be showed in
the below date frame.
2. DATE: It will show all the recording status in this day, you can playback
the record file in this period via click the corresponding period.
3. PLAYBACK: You can press【 】 【 】【 】 or input number directly
to setup playback time. After setting, move the cursor to “PLAYBACK”,
and then press “PLAY” to enter into video playback of that time Also
you can select any period of time in the video status frame after sear
ching, press “PLAY” to enter into the video playback of this period.

4. FILE LIST: Enter into the video file list interface of the selected date.
5. LOG : Enter into the log searching interface.
6. EXIT : Exit “video search” to back to the previous menu.

Setup the searching date , after pressing SEARCH , move the cursor to
FILE LIST and press OK to enter into the video file list of this date.
CHANNEL: There is 1,2,3,4 and all channel, totally 5 options.
Press 【 】or 【 】【 】to select.
TYPE: There are all, normal and alarm, totally 3 options.

Description
①. FILE LIST “CHANNEL” is the recording file which belong to which
channel, “SIZE” is display the size of this file(Unit: MB), “TYPE” is display
the type of recording file, there are two types: normal and alarm, press
“BACKUP” button can export the selected files to USB storage.
②. After moving the cursor up and down and select the files, and press
【PLAY】to enter into playback interface. If the all channels have
recording files, it will playback all windows at the same time.
③. If setup as “on” in the【RECORD TIME】in 【BASIC SETUP】, it will
show the date/time when playback record file, If setup as“off” it will not
display time.
④. When playback, Can be on the screen with a mouse click【 】to play
slowly, press【 】【 】to speed、reverse play, also can press
【 】to pause and frame by frame play, Press【Exit】to exit from
playback and return to the former menu.
⑤. When finished playback files, it will return to the file list interface.
2. BACKUP
You can use USB for backup, and it is support USB OTG.
In the detailed list of files, to a record of a backup, click the right box,
indicating “√” indicated that they had selected, and then click the Backup
button to back up files can be carried out. When it comes to file backup
for each event has a progress bar shows that the backup is complete,
the “Backup complete” prompt (Figure: Backup).

3.2 RECORD SETUP
Move the cursor to (Icon highlighted when selected),
press【 】to enter into the setting interface. and you can
use direction keys and cursor to change the options.

3.21 CHANNEL:
ON: Means the channel enable for recording.
3.22 QUALITY:
There are three options: HIGHEST, HIGH and NORMAL
corresponding HIGHEST, HIGH and NORMAL data stream standard.
3.23 AUDIO:
ON: Means enable the audio recording for all channels,
OFF: Means disable audio recording
3.24 REC MODE:
POWER UP: Means the device will start recording when it startup.
TIMER RECORD: Recording as the schedule, you can setup
the schedule as you want as follow.
CHANNEL: You can select all channel or just one channel.
WEEKLY: You can select all everyday, weekend, workday

4.1 FEATURE
Install DVR inside in LAN or use network cable to connect with PC.
Through the IE browser of OS and install the software, you are able to do the
network operation remotely, which is much more convenient. DVR support C/S
B/S, and visit in LAN and WAN, also support IP and domain name visiting.

Input the DVR local IP in IE browser, when changed the port, you should add
the port number after IP address, e.g. if DVR local IP is 192.168.1.100 (LAN)
and the port is 0080, you should input http:// 192.168.1.100:0080. The default
port is 0080, and directly input http://192.168.1.100 to access the login
interface as following,
Select English interface in the top left side. Input username and
password to enter into the system. The username and passport is
same as the ones set in DVR.

APPENDIX A: HARD DISK INSTALLATION
1. Hard drive jumpers need to be set properly in order to make DVR
Function correctly.
2. Remove DVR top cover by taking out screws from location shown below:

setting on (master) mode of the hard drive, mounting the hard drive over DVR base
by facing SATA interface to DVR main board, Top-down match the screw holes.
