Safety
Never look directly at the sun through the binoculars. This could permanently damage your eyesight.
Use
Adjusting the eyepieces
The distance between the eyes varies from person to person. In order for the binoculars to fit
the user perfectly, the distance between the eyepieces should be adjusted. Raise the binoculars
to your eyes and move the eyepieces closer together or further apart. Please note that the image
will not be focused at this stage. The focus is adjusted at a later stage.
Adjustable eyecups
The eyecups are adjustable to enable the binoculars to be used by users wearing spectacles.
Lift up or fold down the eyecups as required.
Adjusting the focus
1. Remove the lens covers.
2. Close your left eye and twist the right adjustment ring to focus the right eyepiece to your right eye.
3. Close your right eye and twist the left adjustment ring to focus the left eyepiece to your left eye.
Binoculars
Estimating the size of an object
It is possible to estimate the size of the object you are
looking at through your binoculars. The right eyepiece has
a built-in scale.
1. Centre the object in the scale and note the distance.
For example, if the size of the object is 6 on the scale,
remember this.
2. Twist the scale ring on the left eyepiece to 6 under
“ANGLE”.

3. You will need to find out how far away the object is. When you know this, find the distance on
the “DISTANCE” disc.
4. The size of the object can now be read off the “OBJECT SIZE” scale just above the distance
scale. If the distance is 200 m, the size of the object is approximately 12 m.
Cleaning
• Clean the binoculars with a dust brush or a fine lint-free cloth.
• If you use a detergent to clean the binoculars, note that you should never spray liquids
directly onto the lenses or eyepieces. Always spray onto a cleaning cloth.
• Never try to dismantle the binoculars or to clean the internal parts.

Follow local ordinances when disposing of this product. If you are unsure of how to dispose of
this product, please contact your municipality.

Säkerhet
Titta aldrig mot solen när du använder kikaren. Det kan skada ögonen permanent.
Användning
Inställning av okularavståndet
Avståndet mellan ögonen varierar från person till person. För att kikaren ska passa perfekt till dina
ögon kan du ställa in avståndet mellan okularen. Håll kikaren normalt framför dig och skjut ihop
eller sära på okularen. Observera att bilden inte är klar i detta läge. Detta justeras i nästa steg.
Inställbara ögonmusslor
Ögonmusslorna är inställbara för att användare med glasögon inte ska behöva ta av glasögonen
vid användning. Dra upp eller fäll ned ögonmusslorna.
Ställa in skärpan
1. Ta av skyddslocken.
2. Blunda med vänster öga och vrid den högra justeringsringen för att ställa in skärpan
på höger öga.
3. Repetera samma procedur som ovan även för vänster öga.
Beräkna storleken på ett objekt
Det är möjligt att beräkna storleken på ett objekt du tittar på.
I den högra kikaren finns en mätanordning inbyggd.
1. Centrera in objektet i mätanordningen och notera
avståndet. Till exempel om objektets storlek visar 6 på
skalan i kikaren, kom ihåg det.
2. Vrid måttskivan på vänster kikare till 6 under ”ANGLE”.
