2.2 Hardware Installation
2.2.1 Installation without PSE Router
As a PD (powered device) IPF2002PoE supports IEEE 802.3af Power-over-Ethernet industrial standard, which allows
powering from a PSE (power sourcing equipment) router or equipment. You can only connect WAN or LAN interface
of IPF2002PoE with PSE Router directly, shown as following figure:

2.2.2 Installation with IP Router
You also can use a power adaptor with rated 9Vdc @ 1A output, center positive for non-PoE environment. If there is
IP router in use, please connect one end of RJ-45 network cable with IP router (or network switching device under IP
router) LAN interface and the other end with WAN interface of IPF2002PoE. You may also connect LAN interface of
IPF2002PoE with IP router directly, shown as following figure:
2.2.3 Installation without IP Router
You also can use a power adaptor with rated 9Vdc @ 1A output, center positive for non-PoE environment. And if there
is no IP router in use, you may install IPF2002PoE between ADSL Modem and PC (or between network switching
device) to act ADSL dialing equipment. Connect IPF2002PoE WAN interface into the network interface of ADSL
Modem, LAN interface into PC or network switching device. The connecting is shown below:

Ⅳ.Configuration Settings
The IPF2002PoE IP phone supports multiple configuration settings. In this section, it mainly explains configuring using the phone
keypad, and through the website. When the phone is connected properly, press the “Menu" button to enter the Menu mode to
make changes on settings. Press the “Menu" button again to exit from the Menu. If no action is made after entering the Menu
mode for more than 10 seconds, it will exit automatically.

Ⅴ. Configuration using Web Browser
Enter the Menu on the IP phone, go to Network/status to retrieve the IP address, then check on the IP address on the
connected computer system (make sure that the address of the IP Phone and the computer are in the same network segment), Then,
type the address http:// Phone-IP-address:9999 in the browser URL address, and login with the user name and password to enter the
configuration setting page. The three default users are “root", "system", "user". The password is “test"(user may
change the password).
To save the configuration settings through the website, press “submit" after configuring on each page. Then, press the
“save change" on the left-hand side column, click on “save". After the IP phone restart, it will save all the changes made
through the website.

Ⅶ. Frequently Asked Questions (Q&A)
1. How do I know that IPF2002PoE Registration is complete?
A: If IPF2002PoE is registered successfully; the Registration number will be displayed on LCD. If “No Service" is
displayed on LCD that means the Registration is not complete. System requires 2 minutes to complete Registration for
IPF2002PoE.
2.After connecting to power source and activating phone device, why do I see “ETHERNET ERROR" on my LCD?
A: Check if Ethernet Cable is correctlyconnected. If it is connected, please check your network connection.
3.Can I dial the phone if a blackout occurs?
A: At this point of time, powering from any of PSE (power sourcing equipment) routers or equipments,
IPF2002PoE will normally work.
4.How to make a phone call?
A: Pick up the handset, after a dial tone, you can dial or make an internet call.
5.How to use “Call Hold" function?
A: When you are on a call, press the “Hold" key or “Swap" key to put the caller on hold; to retrieve
the call, press the “hold" key or swap key again.
How to use “Call Waiting" Function?

A: When you are on a call, if you hear a dial tone twice that means there is another incoming call for you. If you want to
answer it, press “hold" key to pick up the call.
7.How to make a “3-way Conference" call?
A: “3-way Conference" call
When you are on a phone with party A and you want to invite party B to join your conversation,
Press “hold " key to put party A on hold, and dial Party B's number after you hear a dial tone. When party B is
connected, inform party B that there is a “3-way Conference" call you like to invite him/her to participate.

If the Phone is already set with 2-3 SIP platform accounts at the same time, you may operate as following ways to switch to the
one you want.
1. For example, if the Phone is set with 3 SIP platforms of A, B, C: A is preset platform and LCD will display the phone number
of A platform. If you want to switch A to B, you may just take up the handset or press speaker key.
Press 2*.
Put down the handset or press speaker key to make it in standby state, and Phone LCD will display platform B's phone
number.
And you can use platform B to make call.
2. If you want to use platform C, you may just take up the handset or press speaker key.
Press 3*.
Put down the handset or press speaker key to make it in standby state, and LCD will display platform C's phone number.
And you can use platform C to make call.
3. If you want to use platform A, you may just take up the handset or press speaker key.

2.2 設備連接
2.2.1 有 PSE 供電路由器的接法:
IPF2002PoE 採用基於乙太網供電的 IEEE 802.3af 標準(Power-over-Ethernet),它可以通過帶標準 PSE
(power sourcing equipment)的路由器或設備提供動力。您可以直接連接 IPF2002PoE 的 WAN 或者 LAN埠到
PSE Router 上,如下圖所示:

2.2.2 有 IP 分享器(路由器)的接法
如果您使用的環境沒有 PoE 提供電能時,您也可以接入 DC 9V @ 1A 的外接電源給 IPF2002PoE 提供電能。
當你的使用環境有 IP 分享器時,將 RJ-45 網路線一端接入 IP 分享器(或 IP 分享器下網路交換設備)LAN
介面,另一端接入 IPF2002PoE 的 WAN 介面。如下圖所示:
2.2.3 沒有 IP 分享器的接法
如果您使用的環境沒有 PoE 提供電能時,您也可以接入 DC 9V @ 1A 的外接電源給 IPF2002PoE 提供電能。
當使用環境沒有IP 分享器,可以將IPF2002PoE安裝在 ADSL Modem和 PC(或網路交換設備)之間充當ADSL
撥號設備。連接方法即 IPF2002PoE 的 WAN 介面接入 ADSL Modem 的網路介面,LAN 介面連接 PC 或網路
交換設備。連接示意圖如下:
進行號碼查詢,以便進行快速撥號和編輯。選擇此項目,第一次按下「OK」進
入快速查詢模式,用戶可以輸入 Name 或 Number 進行快速查詢;連續兩次按
下「OK」鍵進入瀏覽查詢模式。在此模式下選擇項目後按下「OK」鍵進入
編輯模式,對 Name 和 Number 進入編輯。查詢模式中選中號碼後舉起聽筒或
按下免持鍵會撥出此號碼。
增加 Phone Book 記錄。選擇此項目後,第一次按下「OK」在 Name 輸入要儲
存號碼的使用者名稱或代號。按下「OK」儲存並進入 Number 項目輸入號碼
然後按下「OK」鍵儲存並退出電話簿編輯。
設定快速撥號號碼。選擇此項目後,按下「OK」進入 Name 欄輸入速撥號碼
的使用者名稱或代號,按下「OK」鍵進入 Number 項目輸入速撥號碼後按下
「OK」輸入速撥代碼完成該筆速撥號碼的輸入。話機支援九筆速撥號碼,代
碼可以從 0-9 之間選擇,如果該代碼以前已儲存過號碼,將會被新號碼覆蓋。
清除所有 Phone Book 記錄。
IP 模式選擇:
Fixed IP client:指定 IP 地址,
DHCP client:DHCP 自動獲取 IP,
PPPoE client:PPPoE 撥號模式。
指定 IP 地址:
IP Address:主機 IP 位址。
Subnet mask:子網路遮罩。
Default Gateway:預設閘道地址。
PPPoE 撥號設定:
User name:輸入 PPPoE 帳號。
Password:PPPoE 密碼。

- Power On(開機檢查): Power on + Scheduling,即每次開機時及依照時間排程檢

z 與使用者 A 建立通話。
z 通話中按下<HOLD>鍵將 A 通話保留,待聽到撥號音後撥打欲轉接之目標號碼(B)。
z 接通 B 後,告知有來電並詢問接聽意願。
z 如果 B 不願意接聽,或轉接(諮詢)B 失敗,請按下<hold>鍵取消轉接並取回與 A 之通話。
z 如果 B 願意接聽,按下<CONF>鍵,進入三方會談。

[Transfer/Flash]鍵接著輸入第三方的號移碼,結束加"#"字鍵;即可將電話轉給第三方。

B 來電 A,A 與 B 在通話的過程中,A 執行轉接給第三方,A 按[Transfer/Flash]鍵接著輸入第三方的號碼,
結束加"#"字鍵;則第三方開始響鈴,A 與 C 通話後,A 掛斷電話,則 B 與 C 可以互相通話。
