Yep, that’s a tilt steering column. What’s more, the Wildcat™ features
variable assist electronic power steering (EPS). Arctic Cat EPS
activates automatically at the moment of ignition. Thanks to this
advanced technology, steering your Wildcat requires minimal effort
even at rock-crawling slow speeds.

features a Pentroof Hemispherical Combustion
Chamber, providing the effi ciency advantages of

with a 50mm throttle body. Wildcat X models get
an additional bump in horsepower.

The Prowler® lineup is defi ned by four robust
engines featuring the Pentroof Hemispherical
Combustion Chamber design boasting the
performance advantages of 4 valves per cylinder:
The 951cc, the 695cc, the 545cc and the 443cc.
The 443cc and the 695cc are available in the
HDX™ lineup. The H2, our 951cc, liquid-cooled,
V-Twin EFI, is our largest
Prowler engine.

Electronic power steering provides variable assist steering
from the moment you turn the key. The system reduces the
torque necessary to steer the HDX when changing direction
with a loaded cargo box or when navigating tough obstacles.
The 5-position tilt steering column lets you adjust the wheel

ON-THE-FLY 2WD/4WD

This is a manual system because purists prefer to be in control of when to shift
into 4WD. With the fl ip of a switch, power is delivered to both the front wheels
via the front differential. So steering remains light. When you need maximum
traction, fl ip the switch again to lock the front differential. Power drives all four
wheels equally.

CONVERT TO FLATBED

When you want to convert the cargo box to a fl atbed,
simply remove the sides of the cargo box and tailgate with
the included tools. Yep. It’s that easy. (HDX models)

This is a manual system because purists prefer to be in control of
when to shift into 4WD. With the fl ip of a switch, power is delivered
to both the front wheels via the front differential. So steering remains
light. When you need maximum traction, fl ip the switch again to lock
the front differential. Power drives all four wheels equally.

TRANSMISSION

Our Duramatic™ automatic transmission is
CVT technology at its best. A continuously
variable transmission responds to vehicle
speed, engine RPM and load. True engine
braking complements handling, thereby
sharpening your technical riding skills.

ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING

Experience a true variable assist system. Steering torque
is measured at the handlebar and at the wheels. The ECU
calculates input forces, resistance and speed. The power
steering motor instantly delivers turning forces. Experience

POWER

Four hours south of our plant in Thief River Falls, Minnesota,
you’ll fi nd the town of St. Cloud — home of the Arctic Cat engine
assembly plant. This is where we build the twin cylinder 1000 H2,
single cylinder 700 H1 and 550 H1. A full range of horsepower
includes fi ve midsize engines ranging from our 450 H1 on up
to the Big Bore twin cylinder 1000. All powermills feature the
4-valves-per-cylinder Pentroof Hemispherical
Combustion Chamber design.

SUPER DUTY DIESEL 700

The 686cc inline twin diesel is a
workhorse on the job and at play.
It runs on six different kinds of
fuel: DF1, DF2, DF-Arctic, JP5,
JP8 and Biodiesel. And as
you would expect, it’s
practically bulletproof.

On-the-fl y 2WD/4WD with a locking front differential
gets you out of sticky situations. The advanced
snorkel air-intake system breathes and cools at the
same time. And to top it all off, you’ve got electronic
power steering and Maxxis Zilla tires.

RIDE-IN SUSPENSION

To improve cornering, we lowered the center of
gravity. Feels great to sit in the machine instead of
on it. Ground clearance and suspension travel are
fantastic. Double A-arms prevent defl ections during
cornering. Steering is ultraresponsive. A rear sway
bar and softer spring rate provide a smoother ride.

SPEEDRACK SYSTEM

ATV owners covet our SpeedRack® system
for its durability and simplicity. You have a
huge choice of accessories. For a complete

You couldn’t ask for a more capable pair
of workhorses. The TBX™ 700 and the
Super Duty Diesel 700 come with every
ounce of Arctic Cat ATV gusto you could

tilting rear cargo box on the TBX and a
rear SpeedRack on the Diesel.

Limited means top of the line. This model separates itself from
the rest with front and rear aluminum bumpers and color-matched
seats. You also get power steering, tilt steering, dual LED
headlights and taillights, FOX Podium shocks and Duro Kaden
tires. This year it comes in Orange Metallic and Team Arctic
Green Metallic.

WILDCAT 4

The Wildcat 4 is everything the two-seater is and two back
seats more. The exoskeleton frame houses four high-back
bucket seats with three-point seat belts. It may be a four-seater,
but by no means do you need to hold back. It’s got the same
suspension, the same handling, the same power, basically it’s
more Wildcat to go around.

EXOSKELETON FRAME

Inspired by the exoskeleton design of sand rails,
the Wildcat’s chassis is built from high-strength
low-alloy steel, sporting a fi rst-class full­perimeter design. The full-perimeter frame is
an industry fi rst on a production vehicle. With a
40/60 weight distribution, the front end remains
light and nimble when attacking tough terrain,
while the lower center of gravity produces a
more comfortable and confi dent ride.
