Congratulations on your purchase of the Aragon 8008X3 Three Channel Amplifier. The 8008X3
is a state-of-the-art component. Years of dedicated research, extensive testing, and engineering
refinement went into this Aragon exclusive.
Aragon components offer unparalleled flexibility and performance to the discriminating music
lover. Your 8008X3 incorporates many advanced design and construction features into a superbly crafted
amplifier.
We recommend playing your 8008X3 a minimum of 24 hours before performing any critical
listening. We do understand that most of you will not wait that long. Therefore, please note that your
8008X3 will improve sonicly over the course of the first week. During this time, you will notice the sound
from your 8008X3 will become richer, warmer and more open. After this first week of break-in the high
current bias of the 8008X3 will allow the amplifier to reach it's proper operating temperature within 20
minutes from turn on. We strongly recommend that you turn the amplifier OFF when not listening to
music.
UNPACKING YOUR NEW 8008X3 Three Channel Amplifier
Your new 8008X3 Three Channel Amplifier was diligently hand-crafted, thoroughly tested and
carefully packed at our factory in California, USA. In the unlikely event that your 8008X3 is damaged
during shipment, be sure to save the carton as evidence for the freight carriers' inspection and call your
authorized dealer immediately. We strongly recommend that you always save the box and packing
materials should you have to transport your 8008X3 for any reason. This is a particularly good idea if you
wish to take full advantage of any future upgrades or options.
CAUTION:
Never ship your BOOBX3 Three Channel Amplifier without the original packing.
CONTENTS OF THIS CARTON:
This carton contains: your new 8008X3 Three Channel Amplifier, a UL approved power cord, a
Warranty Registration/Survey card, and of course, this Owner's Manual. Please follow the instructions
contained in this manual in order to derive the maximum performance, flexibility and enjoyment from your
8008X3 Three Channel Amplifier.
Be sure to complete and return your factory registration card immediately. This will entitle you to our
extended warranty as outlined on the warranty card.

CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS
This section will help you to become familiar with each of the controls and functions found on your
8008X3 Three Channel Amplifier. Take a few moments to read the information presented in this section
in order to facilitate your understanding of the control options available.
FIGURE 1 FRONT PANEL CONTROLS
CONNECTIONS
1. POWER ON/OFF
This rocker switch turns the A/C power ON
(press top) or OFF (press bottom.)
2. POWER INDICATOR
This light will be on whenever the 8008X3 is
in the on position.
3. INPUTS
These three inputs can be use for any
three channels in a home theatre system.
4. SPEAKER OUTPUTS
These are the speaker outputs for the three
channels.
5. A/C POWER CONNECTOR
This 3 prong connector is for the A/C power
input.
SYSTEM SETUP
This section provides you with the setup procedures to easily connect the 8008X3 Amplifier to
your system.
General Precautions
. Never allow the speaker cable termination's to touch at either the back of the amplifier or the speaker
terminals. Always turn off the BOOBX3 when connecting or moving your loudspeakers.
. Your 8008X3 is designed to be free standing, placed on an audio rack or stacked with other
components.
. Always be sure to provide enough space (at least 1 Y2 inches) at the top, sides and the rear of the
8008X3 to allow sufficient air flow through the ventilation slots. Failure to do this will cause severe
damage to the unit.
. Never place your 8008X3 directly on carpet. Always place on a hard flat surface to allow for proper
ventilation.
