1. Product Introduction
Aputure V-Screen is an ultra-thin 7 TFT-LCD monitor featuring crystal clear
WVGA/HD display, low power consumption, multiple aspect rati os, and more. It
accepts HDMI, AV (Audio/Video1/Video2), and analog inputs from your DSLR or
camcorder. V-Screen also includes a double power supply, universal hot shoe
mount, and sunshade cover.

V-Screen Installation
1) Mount on camera or camcorder
Fix V-Screen on your DSLR camer a or
camcorder with the univer sal hot s hoe
mount, then connect them by HDMI or
AV cable (P urcha sed sep arate ly).
2) Mount on the Magic Hand
Fix V-Screen on the magic hand or o ther
accessories with 1/4" con necte r, and
lock them.

3) Fix the sunshade cover
Fix the sunshade cover on the V-S creen w ith the t ape as sh own by th e pictu re.
Using Power Adapter
To power by adapter, connect the DC Adapt er to the D C Input o n the bac k of
V-Screen.
Lithium Battery Installation
Insert lithium battery into the ba ttery s lot as sh own bel ow.
Note:
1. Lithium batteries should be purch ased separately. You can use: Sony F970/F550 /
NP-FM5 00H.
2. There's no need to remove the batter ies when powered by adapter. DC power will
charge the batteries and battery power will be displayed in the top left corner of the screen.
Power Switch
Switch on the V-Screen by press ing the p ower sw itch. To power off,
hold the power switch for 2 sec onds.
Note:
1. Power indicator lights red when connected with power.
2. Power indicator lights green when turned on.
3. A red battery indic ator will blink on the screen when powe r is low. Replac e
batter ies immediately
Signal Input Switch
Press the < A/V> button to choose approp riate s ignal i nput mo de. Ex: S witch t o
HDMI mode to receive HDMI sig nal.
Supports HDMI Signal Output
V-Screen VS-2 not only suppor ts HDMI s ignal i nput, b ut also h as a uniq ue HDMI
output function.
Enter Sleep Mode
Enters sleep mode after 30 seconds w hen the re is no si gnal. Awake unit by
pressing any button excep t power s witch .
4. Function and Operation
1. Before setting functions, mak e sure de vice is c onnec ted cor rectl y.
2. Before entering the menu, the Dir ectio n Pad has s evera l defau lt func tions:
< / > = brightness adjustment; < / > = contrast adj ustme nt.
Note:
Refer to P9 to set shortcuts as needed .
3. Press <M> on the V-Screen to enter the me nu. Pre ss < / > to cho ose fro m
the main menu, including di splay, men u, function, and shortcut settings. Then
press < > to enter sub-menu. Press < / > to navigat e the sub -menu , and
< / > to adjust parameters. Press <M> to confirm and return to the main menu.
Press once more to exit the menu.

Instructions:

2. V-Screen shows “upgr ading ” on the sc reen wh en ente ring Firmware Upgrade
mode. It will return to v ideo fe ed when n o new sof tware i s found. It will restart
automatically whe n upgra ded suc cessf ully.
g. Reset (Factory Def ault)
Instructions:
V-Screen will display a pop-u p messa ge when p ressi ng < >, ask ing per mission
to reset all settings. Navigate to ' Yes' and press 'M' to reset settings to fact ory
default. The d evice w ill ref resh au tomat icall y. Navigate to ‘No’ to cancel and
press’ M’ to retur n to the ma in menu .
