Moisture Indicator Kit

Description:
All Apollo Dental Products Air Compressors are equipped with a moisture indicator device located at the storage tank discharge outlet.
The devise houses a piece of chemically treated paper which turns pink in color in the presence of moisture. The indicator should
always be blue (indicating less than 55 percent relative humidity), but over time, the paper may lose it’s effectiveness. If it’s determined
that the moisture indictaor is faulty, a replacement kit is needed. The kit consists of the indicator housing with glass window, humidity
paper, and an O-ring.
Installation:
1. Turn power “OFF” to compressor.
2. Open storage tank drain valve to release all the air pressure contained in the storage and then return valve to closed
position.
3. Remove old moisture indicator assembly and replace with new one.
Note: This indicator is sensitive to moisture in it’s environment; therefore, it’s important that the
indicator be air tight. A sealant comparable to Loc-Tite Hydraulic Seal is recommended.
4. Turn power on to compressor.
Note: Initially the indicator may be pink in color indicating an RH above 55 percent. With the drying
system in good condition; the indicator will turn blue indicating dry air in a day or two at most.
