
This quick installation guide was designed to help with the basic configuration for
the Raptor ATX. More detailed information can be found in the installation guide.
Processor Installation:: When installing the processor, make sure to select the
correct setting for the BUS clock through jumper JP11. Incorrect BUS clock
selection can cause damage to the CPU and void the product warranty.

To install the processor follow these
steps:
Lift the lever of the PGA socket
and gently insert the processor.
Make sure the diagonal notch on
the processor matches the notch
on the socket. This notch
represents pin 1.

Memory Configuration: The Raptor ATX features three memory banks (3
DIMM sockets) allowing up to 384MB of unbuffered SDRAM or up to 768MB of
registered SDRAM with ECC support.
