HCP-1300 Platinum
Antec’s High Current Pro Platinum series is the pinnacle of power supplies. High Current Pro Platinum
is fully modular with a revolutionary 20+8-pin MBU socket for the needs of tomorrow. By using a PSU
that is 80 PLUS® PLATINUM certified & ErP Lot 6: 2013, operating up to 94% efficient, you can reduce
your electricity bill by up to 25% when compared to many other power supplies. HCP Platinum’s
innovative 16-pin sockets create a new level of flexibility by doubling the modular connectivity,
supporting two different 8-pins connectors and even future connectors of 10, 12, 14 or 16-pins. Backed
by a 7-year warranty and lifetime global 24/7 support, the HCP-1300 Platinum embodies everything a
power supply can accomplish today.
STANDARDS AND FEATURES
The connectors and power specifications of the HCP-1300 Platinum PSU are all compatible with
ATX12V v2.32 and EPS12V v2.92 specifications. The HCP-1300 Platinum features Universal Input, which
automatically senses when you connect the power supply to any AC power source between 100 - 240V
without setting a voltage switch. This power supply also features Active Power Factor Correction (PFC),
which improves the power factor value of the power supply by altering the input current wave shape,
helping to power transmission across the grid.
SYSTEM PROTECTION
A variety of industrial-grade safety circuitry will help protect your computer: Over Current Protection
(OCP), Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Under Voltage Protection (UVP), Short Circuit Protection (SCP),
Over Power Protection (OPP), Over Temparature Protection (OTP), Surge & Inrush Protection (SIP), No
Load Operation (NLO) & Brown-Out Protection (BOP). Sometimes the PSU will “latch” into a protected
state. You will need to power off the PSU and clear the fault before it will function again. There are no
user-replaceable fuses in your HCP-1300 Platinum.

MODULAR CABLE JACKS
There are six 5-pin black jacks and six 16-pin black jacks on the back of your HCP-1300 Platinum PSU.
These jacks are for the optional cables that come with your power supply.
Caution: Please connect only cables provided with this HCP-1300 Platinum. Other cables may not be
compatible!
OC Link™ System Installation
Connect the included OC Link™ cable to two Antec HCP Platinum power supplies. You can use any
combination of models such as 850 + 1000 or 1300 + 1300. You can connect any system component to
either PSU without restrictions. Please read the chapter “INSTALLATION” for general installation help.
Please turn the “I/O” switch on both power supplies to “I” (On). After completion of set-up, simply turn
on the system.
