8. Keep monitor AWAY from heat sources (such as
stoves, radiators, etc.). Heat can damage t he case or

for proper VENTILATION. DO NOT place on sofas, cushions,
beds , etc. whic h may block v entila tion or any where t hat woul d
muffle t he sound or int erf ere wi th the normal fl ow of air.

19. Exercise care in handling batteries in order not to
short out the batteries with conducting materials such as
rings, bracelets and keys.
20. Overcharging, short circuiting, reverse charging,
muti lation, or incinera tion of batte ries m ust be
avoided to prev ent one or m ore of the f ollowi ng occurr ences:
rele ase of tox ic mater ials, rel ease of hy drogen a nd/or ox ygen,
gas and rise in surface temperature.
21. DO NOT attempt to recharge batteries provided
wit h or ident ified for u se with t his produ ct that a re not
intended to be charged. e batteries m ay leak corro sive
electrolyte or explode.
22. Incorrect polarity installation of the batteries in
the end product must be avoid ed. Reverse inser tion of
bat teries can c ause charg ing, and tha t may result i n leakage
or explosion.
23. Remove batteries from units i f you s tore the
product over 30 days because t he bat ter ies could leak
and damage the produ ct.
24. Discard ‘d ead’ bat teries as so on as possib le since ‘de ad’
bat teries are more likely to le ak in a produc t. If a batt ery has
leaked or vented, discard product responsibly.

interfer ence, chang e the channel on b oth units.
27. Power cord protection - Protect the Adapter’s
power cord from being walked on or pinched by
furniture or other items – Power supply c ords should be
rout ed so th at the y are no t likel y to be wa lked on o r pinched
by items upon or again st the m, pay ing par ticu lar at tention
to cords and plu gs, co nvenience re cept acle, and the p oint
where they ex it fr om the produc t. e s ocket outl et shall be
installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.
Make su re to plug the a dapter to th e socket ou tlet neare st to
the equipment and that is easily accessible. To disconnect
from mains, unplug the adapter.

STEP 2 SETTING UP THE NURSERY UNIT
2.1 SELECT A LOCATION FOR THE NURSERY UNIT
IMPORTANT
Place the cot near a supporting wall and far from air currents. Install the Nursery Unit on a flat, stable surface
facing the cot at a distance of at least 1 meter. Make sure to plug the adapter to the socket outlet nearest to
the equipment and that is easily accessible.

Nursery Unit, be sure it is switched to
the OFF position. If it isn’t, the unit will

Note: Each time you power ON your Nursery Unit, the internal thermometer will need to calibrate to ensure
accuracy. is automatic process will take approximately 30 minutes. e colour changing temperature display,
by default, will be turned “OFF”. You may turn this feature “ON” in the settings mode on your Parent Unit.
