User Manual
1. Position an object (e.g. chair) to hold door panel open.
2. Unlock & open door panel. Secure door panel in open
position using object from step 1.
3. Locate battery tray at top of center strike plate in door jamb.
4. Using a small flat blade screwdriver, pry t he top & bottom of
the battery tray to remove. Take care to avoid scratching the
door strike finish.
5. Remove discharged batteries (see battery disposal
information).
6. Replace batteries with two fresh CR-1632 lithium co in cell
batteries. Take care to properly position the “+” terminals of
both batteries to correspond with the “+” marking on the
battery tray.
7. Insert the battery tray back into the sensor through the
opening in the center strike. The tray m ay encounter
resistance during insertion prior to full seating. Continue
until battery tray is flush with strike plate.
8. Close and lock door unit.
9. Verify that sensor is communicating wit h security control
panel by unlocking window and checking security panel for
door unlock message and then opening window and
checking security panel for door open mes sa ge.
