WARNING: These instructions must be read in full.

All interventions on LIVE conductors are DANGEROUS. The OPERATOR must know all the rules relating to ELECTROTECHNICAL SAFETY. He must be trained and authorised. He is responsible for the safe use of equipment. He must be aware:

- Whether this equipment is appropriate for the use he wishes to make of it and whether it is in a safe condition

- The conditions under which actions are taken.

PROBE conforms to safety STANDARD: CEI 1010-2-032. NORMAL CONDITIONS: inside a building, maximum altitude 2000 m, temperature of between 5ºC and 40ºC (41°F and 104°F), max. relative humidity of 80% up to 31ºC

(89°F), decreasing to 50% at 40ºC (104°F) on bare conductors with a voltage of up to 600 V CAT III. Pollution Degree 2. Insulated conductor: insulation limit of the cable. PROBE conforms to European EMC STANDARDS - immunity: EN 50082-2:1992 10V/m industrial environment. - Emission: EN 50081-2: 1993 Industrial environment. USAGE: Amprobe recorders should be set to 100A current range. Refer to individual recorder manual on how to configure current input. Verify recorder compatibility with

Amprobe catalog or a website: www.Amprobe.com SAFETY DEVICES: The PROBE must only be handled by part [A] (see drawing). No part of the hand must exceed the TACTILE SAFETY BARRIER (G).

This probe is fitted with a SIAC Safety Internal Anti Short Circuit (patented). To open the jaws, push the slider (V) and depress, on closure the slider will retract automatically (make sure of it) if no object (3 mm) is between the open jaws. Stop using if any part of the PROBE appears to be damaged or in poor condition. Inspect, or have inspected, the condition of this equipment at regular intervals.

MAINTENANCE: Clean the probe from time to time by wiping with a damp cloth and a detergent. Do not use abrasive products or solvents. Do not immerse the probe in ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS

El SENSOR cumple con las NORMAS DE SEGURIDAD: CEI 61010-2-032. CONDICIONES NORMALES: dentro de un edificio, altitud máxima 2000 m, temperatura entre 5ºC y 40ºC (41°F y 104°F), humedad máxima relativa de 80% hasta 31ºC

especifico para cada registrador. Verifique la compatibilidad del registrador en nuestro catálogo o página web: www.Amprobe.com DISPOSITIVOS DE SEGURIDAD: el SENSOR solo debe manejarse por la parte [A] (ver el esquema).

Ninguna parte de la mano debe exceder el límite de seguridad especificado por los INDICADORES TÁCTILES (G). Este sensor está montado con un SIAC, dispositivo interno de seguridad contra cortocircuitos, patentado. Para abrir presione el perno (V). Al cerrarse este se retraerá (asegurese que esta ocurra) si no hay ningún objeto (3mm) entre las horquillas abiertas. Deje de utilizar el SENSOR si alguna de sus piezas está en malas condiciones. Revise, o haga revisar, la condición de este equipo a intervalos periódicos.

MANTENIMIENTO: limpie la caja de vez en cuando pasándola un paño húmedo con detergente. No utilice productos abrasivos o disolventes. No sumerja el sensor en líquido.
