ATGC-1
Ground Coil
The Amprobe ATGC-1 ground coil is an accessory to any Amprobe AT-2000 or AT-4000 wire tracer. The ATGC-1 Ground Coil allows the signal from the Transmitter in the Advanced Tracer AT-2000 series or AT-4000 series to be induced onto buried conductors, water pipes and gas pipes up to 2 m deep. The coil is placed on the ground, above and to the side of the conductor to be traced. This allows tracing of conductors up to 100 m in length. Using the Wire Tracer’s receiver, an underground cable can be located and traced. The optional accessory for the wire tracer, Battery Booster B-2024 can be used to ensure a maximum transfer of the signal.
Traces and locates buried conductors like Highway Lighting Conductors, Main Electrical Feeds, Water Mains, and Telephone Lines
