FCC Compliance
1. This equipment complies with Part 68 of the FCC rules. A label on the base unit of this equipment contains, among other information, the ACTA Registration Number (US:AAAEQ##TXXXX) and the Ringer Equivalence Number (REN) for this equipment. You must, upon request, provide this information to your telephone company.
2. An applicable cer ti cation jacks Universal Ser vice Order Codes (USOC) for the equipment is provided (i.e., RJ11C) in the pack aging with each piec e of approved terminal equipment.
3. A plug and jack used to c onnect this equipment to the premises wiring and telephone network must comply with the applic able FCC Part 68 rules and requirements adopted by the ACTA. A compliant telephone cord and modular plug is provided with this product. It is designed to be connec ted to a compatible modular jack that is also compliant. See installation instruction s for details.
4. The REN is useful to determine the quantit y of devices you may connect to your telephone line and still have all of those devices ring when your number is called. In most, but not all areas, the sum of the REN of all devic es should not exceed  ve (5.0). To be certain of the number of devices you may connect to your line, as determined by the REN, you should call your local telephone company to determine the maximum REN for your calling area. NOTIC E: If your home has specially wired alarm equipment connected to the telephone line, ensure the installation of this equipment does not disable your alarm equipment. If you have questions about what will disable alarm e quipment, consult your telephone company or a quali ed installer.
5. If your telephone causes harm to the telephone networ k, the telephone company may discontinue your service temporarily. If possible, they will notify you in advance. But if ad vance notice is not practical, you will be noti ed as soon as p ossible. You will be advised of your right to  le a complaint with the FCC.
6. Your telephone company may make changes to its facilities, equipment, operations or procedures that could af fect the proper operation of your equipment. If they do, you will b e given advanc e notice so as to give you an oppor tunity to maintain uninterrupted ser vice.
7. If you experience trouble with the telephone, plea se contact the Amplicom Service Center at 1- 866-AMPLICOM (267-5426) for repair/warranty information. The telephone company may ask you to disconnect this equipment from the network until the problem have been corrected or you are sure that the equipment is not malf unctioning.
8. This equipment may not be used on coin service provided by the telephone company. Connection to party lines is subjec t to state tariffs. (Contac t your state public utility commission or cor poration commission for informa tion.) This device c omplies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful inter ference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Privacy of communications may not be ensured when using this phone. Changes or modi cations not expressly approved in writing by Amplicom may void the user’s authority to opera te this e quipment. Some cordless phones operate at frequencies that may cause interference to nearby TVs and VCRs; to minimize or prevent such interference, the base of the cordless phone should not be placed near or on top of a TV or VCR; and, if inter ference is experience d, moving the cordless telephone farther away from the TV or VC R will of ten reduce or eliminate the interference. NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. T hese limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and c an radiate radio fre quency energy and, if not ins talled and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio c ommunications. However, there is no guarantee that inter ference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the inter ference by one or more of the following measures: Reorient or relocate the rec eiving antenna, increase the separation b etween the equipment and r eceiver, connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit diff erent from that to which the receiver is connected or consult the dealer or an experienced radio/ TV technician for help. For body worn operation, this hands et has been tested and meets the FCC RF exposure guidelines when used w ith the Amplicom accessories supplied or designated for this product. Safety information - SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Unauthorized modi cation or reconstruction is not permitted. Do not open the device and attempt any repair work yourself.
Charger unit location
Locate the charger unit:
On a dry,  at and stable surface
Where the power cable will not be a trip hazard
Where it is not obstructed by furniture
At least three feet from other electrical appliances
Away from smoke, dust, vibration, chemicals, moisture, heat or direct sunlight.
Power failure – What to do
This product cannot be used in the event of a power failure. Make sure alternative arrangements are made in place of emergency calls.
Medical equipment
Do not use the phone near emergency or intensive care medical equipment, or during an electrical storm. If you have a pacemaker check with a medical expert before using this product.
Important: Use only power supply model S008CU1200067 supplied by Ten Pao Industrial Co., Ltd. for Base unit and charger adapter S005IU0550030 (optional).

Getting Started — Included Equipment
1 wrist shaker with a wrist strap attached
1 charger unit with power adapter plug attached
Set up
1. Position the charger unit
2. Plug in charger unit
Plug the charger unit into power supply and switch the power on.
3. Place the wrist shaker in charger unit
Place wrist shaker on its charger unit with the two connection points facing down. A red light on the wrist shaker indicates it is charging properly. Charge the wrist shaker for 10 hours before use.

Note: When fully charged, the wrist shaker’s battery will last  ve days. The larger red light will  ash slowly when the battery is low and needs to charge for 10 hours.
4. Register the wrist shaker to the PowerTel telephone
Important: If the wrist shaker was purchased separately from a PowerTel phone, it will need to be registered prior to use.
i. Turn on the wrist shaker by pressing and holding the
button for
 ve seconds.
ii. Press and hold the
button again for 12 seconds, until the registration light  ashes green quickly. The wrist shaker will be in registration mode for about 1 minute.
iii. Activate registration mode on the PowerTel phone.
For a PowerTel 720, 725, 720 Twin:
Press and hold the registration key
for about ten seconds until the charging
light fl ashes.
For a PowerTel 760, 765, 780, 785:
Press and hold

Note: The registration light will  ash green and red if your wrist shaker isn’t registered or is out of range. Move closer to the PowerTel telephone to ensure you are within range.

USING THE WRIST SHAKER
Using the wrist shaker
Switch on
Press and hold the button for about  ve seconds. The green light with the warning triangle will illuminate.

Wrist strap
The wrist strap comes pre-attached to the wrist shaker. To reattach it or adjust it:
Thread the wrist strap through the slot on one side of the wrist shaker (front to back), around the back and then through the other slot (back to front), just like a wrist watch.
Tighten the Velcro fastener until comfortable.

USING THE WRIST SHAKER
Make sure the wrist shaker is in range
If the wrist shaker is not in range, it won’t work. The registration light will  ash green and red when the shaker is out of range. Move closer to the PowerTel phone base.
Battery low
If the battery is low, the low battery light will turn red and will  ash. Return the wrist shaker to charger base.
Incoming calls
When an incoming call is received, the wrist shaker vibrates and a bell symbol  ashes green on its display.
Answer and end a call in the usual way using the PowerTel phone.
