Read complete installation instructions before installing kit.
Confirm all parts listed are included in kit. If parts are
missing, contact source from whom kit was purchased.
Important
• Mechanical experience is required to install trim kit.
• Depending on installer’s knowledge and skill, installation
can take from one-half to one hour.
• If unable to solve a problem during installation, contact
source from whom kit was purchased.
Procedure
Refrigerator Door
1. Slide out refrigerator handle screw insert and remove
handle by removing screws with a Phillips screwdriver.

2. Align panel in groove between top and bottom trim and
push evenly. Start at one end and work across door.

Important
Do not remove corrugate from back of panels. Panels will
not fit properly if corrugate is removed.

• For ease of installation, two people are required to lift
and guide panel into trim. Install one panel at a time.
• For smoother installation apply bar soap on door trim
and panel.
• If panel binds loosen top door trim. Adjust panel and
retighten.

3. Install handle with screws removed in step 1. Install
handle screw insert by starting at one end and pushing
into groove by working way along handle insert.
Freezer Door
Non Dispensing Models
4. Repeats steps 1 through 3 on freezer door.
Dispensing Models
5. Slide out handle screw insert and remove freezer
handle by removing screws with a phillips screwdriver.

Important
Do not remove corrugate from back of panels. Panels will
not fit properly if corrugate is removed.

• For smoother installation apply bar soap on door trim
and panel.
6. Align lower panel in groove between lower dispenser
trim and bottom freezer door trim. Push evenly . Start at
one end and work across. For smoother installation
apply bar soap on trim and panel. If panel binds, loosen
lower dispenser trim. Adjust panel and retighten.

7. Align upper panel in groove between upper dispenser
trim and top door trim. Push evenly . Start at one end
and work across. If panel binds, loosen top freezer door
trim. Adjust panel and retighten. (Illustration 3)

8. Reinstall handle with screws removed in step 5. Install
handle screw insert by starting in one corner and
pushing insert into groove in handle along the full length
of the insert.
9. Peel off protective film from the front of decorator
panels.
