IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Caution
To avoid personal injury or property damage, observe the following:
1. Briskly stir or pour liquids before heating with microwave energy to prevent spontaneous boiling or eruption. Do not overheat. If air is not mixed into a liquid, liquid can erupt in oven or after removal from oven.
2. Do not deep fat fry in oven. Fat could overheat and be hazardous to handle.
3. Do not cook or reheat eggs in shell or with an unbroken yolk using microwave energy. Pressure may build up and erupt. Pierce yolk with fork or knife before cooking.
4. Pierce skin of potatoes, tomatoes, and similar foods before cooking with microwave energy. When skin is pierced, steam escapes evenly.
5. Do not operate equipment without load or food in oven cavity.
6. Use only popcorn in packages designed and labeled for microwave use. Popping time varies depending on oven wattage. Do not continue to heat after popping has stopped. Popcorn will scorch or burn. Do not leave oven unattended.
7. Do not use regular cooking thermometers in oven. Most cooking thermometers contain mercury and may cause an electrical arc, malfunction, or damage to oven.
8. Do not heat baby bottles in oven.
9. Do not use metal utensils in oven.
10. Never use paper, plastic, or other combustible materials that are not intended for cooking.
11. When cooking with paper, plastic, or other combustible materials, follow manufacturer's recommendations on product use.
12. Do not use paper towels which contain nylon or other synthetic fibers. Heated synthetics could melt and cause paper to ignite.

Warning
To avoid the risk of electrical shock or death, this equipment must be earthed.
Warning
To avoid the risk of electrical shock or death, do not alter the plug.
InstallationEarthing Instructions
External Equipotential Earthing Terminal
Equipment has secondary earthing terminal. Terminal provides external earthing connection used in addition to earthing prong on plug. Located on outside of oven back, terminal is marked with symbol shown below.
This equipment MUST be earthed. In the event of an electrical short circuit, earthing reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. This oven is equipped with a cord having a earthing wire with a earthing plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and earthed.
Consult a qualified electrician or servicer if earthing instructions are not completely understood, or if doubt exists as to whether the equipment is properly earthed.
Do not use an extension cord. If the product power cord is too short, have a qualified electrician install a threeslot receptacle. This oven should be plugged into a separate 50 hertz circuit with the electrical rating as shown in the appropriate drawing. Model requires a 230 supply voltage. When a microwave oven is on a circuit with other equipment, an increase in cooking times may be required and fuses can be blown.
Unpacking Equipment
• Inspect equipment for damage such as dents in door or dents inside oven cavity .
• Report any dents or breakage to source of purchase immediately. Do not attempt to use oven if damaged.
• Remove all materials from oven interior.
• If oven has been stored in extremely cold area, wait a few hours before connecting power.
Equipment Placement
• Allow at least 1.5 inches/3.81 centimeters of clearance around top and sides of equipment. Proper air flow around equipment cools electrical components. With restricted air flow, oven may not operate properly and life of electrical parts is reduced.
• Allow at least 29/16 inches / 6.5 centimeters between air discharge on back of equipment and back wall.
• Do not install equipment next to or above source of heat, such as pizza oven or deep fat fryer. This could cause microwave oven to operate improperly and could shorten life of electrical parts.
• Do not block or obstruct oven filter.
• Allow access for cleaning.
230V–32AMP
Radio Interference
Microwave operation may cause interference to radio, television, or similar equipment. Reduce or eliminate interference by doing the following:
• Clean door and sealing surfaces of oven according to instructions in “Care and Cleaning” section.
• Place radio, television, etc. as far as possible from oven.
• Use a properly installed antenna on radio, television, etc. to obtain stronger signal reception.

Do Not Operate the Unit When Empty
When operating oven, be sure there is absorbing material (food, water) inside oven. Insufficient or improper food loads or improper containers (metal) may cause magnetron to overheat. When this happens, thermal switch will eventually turn oven off to allow magnetron to cool. Several minutes will elapse before switch resets and allows oven to operate.
Do Not Put Excessive Weight on the Door
Door is not designed to hold excessive weight which might cause door to become misaligned, resulting in improper operation.

1. With clean, sanitized towel dipped in McD Sanitizer (HCS), thoroughly wipe inside walls, floor,
door and splatter shield at top of oven. Be sure to "wring" sponge or cloth to remove excess water before wiping unit. Water pressure type cleaning systems should not be used to clean oven interior or exterior. If splatter shield has areas that require more cleaning, it can be removed following procedure outlined on page 11.
If stubborn splatters exist on walls, one cup of tap water can be boiled in oven for 1-2 minutes. Use your Amana wattage beaker for this procedure. Steam from boiling water will help loosen splatters.

FL
FH
PL
HOT
HI
LO
Important
Contact an authorized servicer if the display shows any code except "HOT", "HI", and "LO". Service must be performed before using oven.
• If display shows "HOT", oven's magnetron is overheated. Oven automatically interrupts cooking sequence and turns on cooling fan until normal temperature is reached. When magnetron cools to normal temperature, oven resumes operation.
Ordering/Service Information
An authorized servicer must inspect equipment annually. Record all inspections and repairs for future reference.
Any questions or to locate an authorized servicer, call equipment supplier. When contacting supplier, provide product information including model, manufacturing and serial numbers and date of purchase. Model manufacturing and serial numbers are located on product nameplate. Warranty service must be performed by an authorized servicer. Amana also recommends contacting an authorized servicer if service is required after warranty expires.
Be sure you have read and followed all instructions. Avoid unnecessary service calls for difficulties that are not the result of defective workmanship or materials. You will be charged for a servicer's travel expenses and labor, even though the product may be in warranty, if the difficulty is not caused by workmanship or materials, or if that component is considered customer-replaceable.
Your oven should never be operated without a food load or without the oven floor in position. If for any reason the oven floor becomes broken, DO NOT OPERA TE THE OVEN UNTIL THE OVEN FLOOR HAS BEEN REPLACED AND SEALED IN POSITION.
• If display shows "HI" or "LO", input voltage is too high or too low. Because cooking results will not be representative of normal cooking pattern, oven is not usable during this condition. When voltage returns to normal range, oven resumes operation.

Vorsicht
Folgendes beachten, um die Gefahr eines Brandes im Herdhohlraum zu verringern:
