Illuminates while recharging battery.
Records the image to be taken. Note: Keep the lens clean. Dirt and fingerprints will affect the quality of the picture. Flash strobe activates in an indoor or dark environment. The best flash distance is within 5 feet (1.5m). LCD shows images, video clips, camera Settings and Menu. Press Power button to turn camera ON, press again to turn OFF. (The camera can also be turned on by flipping open the LCD). Press button to select PICTURE mode or VIDEO mode. Press this button to take Still PICTURE; to Start or Stop recording VIDEO clip, or to confirm changes in menu mode. Zoom IN during recording mode & browse UP for Menu options Zoom OUT during recording mode & browse DOWN for Menu options. Press for flash options selection in photo mode and for LEFT selection in menu mode. Press for RIGHT selection in menu mode and exposure value setting in photo / video mode. Press button to enter the PICTURE playback mode, press again for VIDEO playback mode. Press to Set PICTURE / VIDEO recording options.
For attaching the wrist strap to the camera. Macro mode: Select this mode only when taking close-up pictures or video recording at 4 to 8 inches (11 to18cm). Normal mode: Select this mode when taking typical pictures or videos at further than 2 feet (0.6M) from camera.
Press up door latch, release and swing open battery door.
1.For transfer of images, video to computer via USB cable. 2.For connecting the AC Charger / charging battery. Slide open connectors’ cover. Socket for cable connection: Use supplied TV cable for video and audio connection to standard TV. Slide open connectors’ cover. Socket for cable connection: Use supplied HDMI cable for HDTV connection. Slide and carefully insert SD Card. Use this socket to attach to tripod (optional).

Operating Instructions
STEP 1. Installing the Battery:
The battery is not fully charged and must be fully charged before first use. It is recommended to charge the battery for a minimum of 2 hours.
1. Open the battery cover.
2. Insert the 3.7V Li-ion rechargeable battery into the camera.
3. Replace the battery cover.
STEP 2. Inserting a Memory Card (not included)
Follow the instructions below to insert the optional SD / SDHC memory card into
the camera.
1. Turn off the camera.
2. Insert the SD card into the camera.
Note: There is only one correct direction to insert the SD memory card into the slot. Do not force the card into the slot, or else it may damage both the camera and the SD memory card.
Note: Most memory cards come pre formatted. If your memory card is not formatted, please follow these simple procedures.
2. Thumbnail views will be displayed. Use (▲,▼, or , ) to select photo / video.
3. Press the ( )button to view or playback your thumbnail selection.
4. During photo playback, push the (▲or ▼) buttons to zoom in or out.
5. While zooming, press ( , ) buttons to move left or right to view a specific part
of the picture
6. When viewing photo in full screen, press ( , ) to view previous or next photo.
7. In viewing a video clips, Press the ( ) button twice to start playing the video
and press again to pause.
8. During video playback, press the ( ) button to fast forward or press the ( )
button to rewind.
STEP 5. Delete Photographs and Video Clips:
Follow the instructions below to delete a photograph or video clip.
1. Press the PLAYBACK ( ) button once to enter the photo / video clip playback mode then select the photograph or video that you wish to delete.
2. Press the MENU button to enter the delete mode.
3. Select “Delete One” and press ( ).
4. Press the ( , ) button to select whether to delete the selected file,
then press the( )button to confirm.
5. Press the MODE button to exit.
Formatting the Memory or SD Card:
Warning: Formatting will erase everything on the card
1. In photo / video set up mode, select SETUP icon by pressing ( ) button to
enter basic set up mode.
2. Select FORMAT icon by pressing the (▼) button and press( )button to confirm, select YES by pressing the ( ) button.
3. Press the( )button to confirm formatting the SD card.
Setting the Resolution:
AHDVC02F can be set to different resolutions.
VIDEO
1. Press the MENUbutton in video mode to enter the video set up menu.
2. Select the RESOLUTION by pressing the (▼) button and press the( )
button to enter the resolution selection.

1. Press the MENUbutton in photo mode to enter the photo set up menu.
2. Select the SIZE icon by pressing the (▼) button and press the ( ) button
to confirm.
3. Different resolutions will be displayed. Select the desired resolution by using the (▲) or (▼) buttons and press the REC button to confirm the selection.

STEP 3. Taking Video or Photographs:
1. Flip open the LCD.
2. Press theMODE button to select the photo mode ( ) or video mode ( ) .
Connect to Computer
Software Installation:
1. Insert CD to your computer.
2. Select “Install MediaImpression”
3. Follow the onscreen instruction to install the
software.
Connect to computer:
1. Power on AHDVC02F.
2. Connect AHDVC02F to the USB port on your computer using the included USB cable.
3. AHDVC02F will appear on your computer as a “Removable Drive” in “My Computer”.
4. You can manage your pictures/videos using the
MediaImpression software or click on the
“Removable Drive” directly.
How to upload to Youtube from MediaImpression:
1. Select the video that you like to upload
2. Click on the YouTube icon in menu bar
3. Depending on the distance to the object being photographed, use Macro switch to adjust the distance. Select the flower symbol ( ) to take a close up photo­ graph (11cm –18cm). To take video or photograph of surroundings or people (0.5m - infinity), set the Macro switch to Normal mode ( ).
4. Use the LCD screen to aim the object you wish to take video or photograph.
5. Press the( )button once to take the picture, or press the) button to
start / stop video recording.
Caution: 1) Taking picture for fast-moving object is not recommended.
2) Image may be distorted when taking picture in a moving vehicle.
Zoom IN and OUT:
AHDVC02F has 4X zoom. (2X zoom for 1080p recording mode). Zoom in or out by pressing the ▲or ▼ button.
STEP 4. Playback Photographs / Videos Clips :
1. Press the PLAYBACK ( ) button once to enter the photo / video playback mode, press ( ) again to select either PHOTO / VIDEO.

Troubleshooting
Problem
Can not power on the unit
Photos can not be saved when
taking pictures.
Can not find removable disk after connecting the camera to the computer.
Photos are blurry
Cause
Low battery power. Battery placed at wrong
polarities. The memory card hasn’t been formatted correctly or memory is full.
Connection failure.
1. AHDVC02F is not held steadily
2. AHDVC02F lens is dirty.
3. AHDVC02F is set to the wrong focus mode.

Solution
Replace or install the battery correctly.
If the memory is full, use a different memory card. Format the memory card if it was not formatted.
Warning: Format will erase everything on the card.
Make sure all cable connections are secured and restart the computer if necessary.
1. Hold AHDVC02F steadily until it beeps when taking video photo.
2. Clean the lens with soft dry cloth.
3. Set the macro/normal mode according to the distances of subject.

This warranty becomes invalid if the factory-supplied serial number or "warranty void"

A) Cosmetic damage or damage due to acts of God B) Accident, misuse, abuse, negligence or modification of any part of the product. C) Damage due to improper operation or maintenance, connection to improper equipment,
or attempted repair by anyone other than Aluratek.
D) Products sold AS IS or WITH FAULTS.
