7. TEST PROCEDURE
1. Test Instrum ents:
1). DC supply: 12V (adjustable)
2). High frequency signal generator: E 4420B
3). O scilloscope: LS 8106.
4). VF analyzer: 8903B
2. Instrum ents Setting:
1). High frequency signal generator: E 4420B
D epth/dev: 20K H Z Rate: 1K H z
Waveform: D ual-sine FM /Tone 2R ate:32.768K H Z
AM PLITUDE: -80dB m FM Tone 2A m p percent of peak: 10%
2). Power supply: D C 12V/300m A
3. Test procedure and specification:
1). W hen the range of RF signal is 0~-80 dB m , the distortion should be less

5). TO N E signal test: change FM /Tone 2R ate:32.768K H Z, the RF should be
turned on in 30.2KH Z~34KH Z.(Note: w hen TO N E signal is 31.7K H Z, the
battery is full; w hen the TO N E signal is 32.768K H Z, the battery has 2
segm ents; w hen the TO NE signal is 34KH Z, it displays low battery).
6). AF level test: w hen the level is 6K H z, light 1 w ill light up, and w hen the
level is 11±2KH Z light l fully light up.
7). RF level test: w hen the level is below -95dB m , light 1 w ill light up, and
w hen the level is -65dB m , light 1 up will fully light up.
8). The difference of A, B induction is 2dBm , the induction of CH1~CH12 is
-95dB m ~103dBm .
9). Adjust the M E N U key, w hen it is in M U TE m ode, adjust the U P and
DOW N key, the AF should has no output.
10). Adjust the M ENU key, w hen the SQ is in 1, the induction of SQ will below
-95dB m ; w hen the SQ is in 10, the induction of SQ will below -65dB m .
11). SCAN function test: send out the fixed frequency from signal generator,
press the M EN U for 1.5 seconds to scan, w hen scan to the transm itted
frequency, the R F light will blink, after pressing the M EN U to lock, it will

has the output.(Note: the C hannel of Group 1~8 only scan 1~11; the
Group 9~12 only scan 1~10).
12). LCD test:
a). Group 1, C hannel 1, RF will display in LCD, AF will display in LC D ,
ANT.A will display 798,125M H Z, the battery status is full.
b): Press the MENU key, it will appear Group, C hannel, PL, UNNU, and SI
1. in return.
c): Press the M E N U key, after it displays G roup, press the up and dow n
should have corresponding variation, at last, press the M E N U key to
lock, and it will appear static condition.
d): W hen input the signal from ANT.A, the LCD will display ANT.A, input the
signal from ANT.B, the LCD display ANT.B.
e): During press the key, observe w hether the display of LCD is normal or
abnormal. The display screen will appear corresponding variations.
13). Turn on/dow n the unit for 3 times, the unit should w ithout the crashed
problem . The display screen will delay for 2-3 seconds then extinguish.
14). The current consum ption is less than 230m A .
15). SQ factory preset: set to 5.

3. Test procedure and specification:
1). Turn on the pow er supply (press the ON/O FF key for 2 seconds), the LE D
will light up, after the LCD show s the status of battery and frequency, the
LED will extinguish.
2). Test the P L2 sense pow ers of CH1, CH6, C H 12, and make sure the sense
pow ers are higher than 5dB m , the P L1 sense pow er is more than 1dB m ,
and the P L0 sense pow er is above -5dB m , the harm onic wave is below
-45dB m . (Note: the pow er of P L1/PL2/P L0 must have obvious variation)
3). Input signal from M IC input terminal (speak), the m odulator should have
output.
4). Tone test: the range of tone signal is 3K H Z±0.5K H Z, and the frequency is
31~34K H Z.
5). Test that the radio frequency is w ithin standard range, permit the error
within ±2K H Z.
6). Functions test:
a). Switch the C H /O N key to corresponding channel, the S E LE C T has
corresponding variations.
b). Switch the C H /O N key to Lock status, the SELECT function key is
ineffective; at this time, it needs to sw itch the C H /O N key to U N Lock
status, then the SELECT key can work normally.
c). On the standby condition, press S E LE C T key for 2 seconds, the
microphone w ill maintain M U TE m ode, at this time, all function keys
will be out of control, the TO NE has no output. Press the SELECH key
for 2 seconds to activate the unit or press the C H /ON to turn off the
microphone.
7). Display test: w hen sw itch the function key, the display screen will appear
corresponding variations. Observe w hether the display screen is normal
or abnormal.
8). Low voltage test: w hen voltage is 2.0V ±0.2V , the display screen will show
low voltage; w hen the voltage is below 1.8V , the unit will turn off
autom atically.
9). Total current consum ption: w hen the pow er setting is PL2, the current
consum ption is less than 125m A.
