GENERAL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The LF115-8A is the perfect low frequency companion for the DS912-8A. Equipped with a 15 inch / 380 mm low frequency speaker housed in a durable 18 mm / 13-Ply Poplar cabinet, the LF115-8A offers affordable system expansion in an easy-to-install package. The LF115-8A will complement the low frequency performance in Auditorium and House of Worship systems.
Altec Lansing’s high performance model 4156-8A woofer is a 15 inch / 380 mm speaker with a robust corrosion-resistant die-cast frame and a weather-resistant cone for maximum durability in all environments.
The unique on-board crossover network provides simplistic add­on operation without the need for an additional power amplifier channel or the costs associated with additional amplification and an active crossover. The charcoal grey or white painted cabinet blends into most backgrounds, or it can be easily painted to match any décor. Altec Lansing includes neutral grille cloth with each speaker, allowing you to dye the cloth to integrate the speaker into the surroundings. The cabinet also features internal hanging points to facilitate permanent installation in either a horizontal or vertical orientation.

ARCHITECTS & ENGINEERS SPECIFICATION
The loudspeaker system shall be a low frequency multi­purpose type consisting of a 15 inch / 380 mm cast frame loudspeaker component with a weather resistant cone. The internal passive crossover network shall be a switchable dual-section, 12 dB/octave slope low pass and 12 dB/octave slope high pass with an electro-acoustic crossover frequency of 200 Hz. The loudspeaker system shall have an operating bandwidth of 48 Hz - 800 Hz with a sensitivity of 100 dB when measured at a distance of one meter. The power handling capability shall be 250 W AES (1,000 W peak). Nominal impedance shall be 8 ohms with
a minimum impedance of 6.5 ohms at 45 Hz. The unit shall be a Vented Enclosure, constructed of 18 mm Poplar plywood painted charcoal grey or white with a cloth covered metal grille. The cabinet shall include integral suspension points. Forged shoulder machinery eye bolts shall be included to facilitate the suspension of the speaker system. The dimensions shall be 30.50 inches high by 20.00 inches wide by 16.25 inches deep. The loudspeaker system shall weigh 75 pounds (34.1 kg). The loudspeaker system shall be the Altec Lansing Professional model LF115-8A.
