Altec Lansing computer speaker systems and any other warranties,
either expressed or implied, are invalid. Neither Altec Lansing
Technologies, Inc. nor any authorized Altec Lansing Technologies, Inc.
reseller is responsible for any incidental damages incurred in the use of
the speakers. (This limitation of incidental or consequential damage is
not applicable where prohibited.
Altec Lansing Technologies, Inc. obligation under this warranty does not
apply to any defect, malfunction or failure as a result of misuse, abuse,
improper installation, use with faulty or improper equipment or the use
of the computer speaker systems with any equipment for which they
were not intended.
The terms of this warranty apply only to computer speaker systems
when such speakers are returned to the respective authorized Altec
Lansing Technologies, Inc. reseller where they were purchased.
Under the terms of this warranty the original consumer purchaser has
certain legal rights and may have other rights which vary worldwide.

The Altec Lansing Multimedia Computer Speaker System
provides the best computer audio output possible.
Connect these computer speakers to a PC audio card for
high quality audio to enhance music, games and PC
entertainment.
DESCRIPTION
The AVS200 consists of a pair of amplified speakers
especially designed for high quality Multimedia performance. The speakers are magnetically shielded so that
they can be placed close to a computer monitor without
distorting images. Best stereo effect is obtained when
the speakers are placed as far apart as the speaker cord
set allows.
The AVS200 is compatible with popular gaming systems,
desktop and laptop computers, home stereo and portable
music systems and most other audio devices.
USE OF CONTROLS (see figure 1)

Press the POWER switch to turn the unit on. A green
indicator (B) will glow to indicate power is on. Press the
POWER switch again to turn the unit off.

Tu rn the volume control clockwise to increase volume
and counter-clockwise to decrease volume.
CONNECTIONS (see figure 2 and 3)
Only three connections are needed for the AVS200.
1. Connect the lime audio plug (D) from the right satellite
to the 3.5mm output jack on the audio source. The
AVS200 is compatible with any audio device with
a 3.5mm stereo headphone or line level output
including computer sound cards, portable CD players,
MP3 players, and others. Most gaming systems have
both RCA left and right outputs. An adapter cable is
required for this connection. Altec Lansing sells the
adapter cable (AAC1) on its website.
2. Connect the DC power plug (F) from the power supply
to the DC jack on the bottom of the right satellite.
3. Connnect the DC power supply (E) to the AC wall
outlet.
The unit is now ready to operate.

USO DOS CONTROLES (vide figura 1)
Liga/desliga Energia (C)
Pressione o botão POWER para ligar a unidade. Um
indicador verde (B) acenderá para indicar que a energia
está ligada. Pressione o botão POWER novamente para
desligar a unidade.
Controle do Volume (A)
Gire o controle do volume no sentido horário para
aumentar o volume e no sentido anti-horário para baixar
o volume.

Somente três conexões são necessárias para o AVS200.
1. Conecte o plug de áudio verde-limão (D) do satélite
direito à tomada de saída de 3,5 mm na fonte de
áudio. O AVS200 é compatível com qualquer disposi
tivo de áudio que possua fones de ouvido estéreo de
3,5 mm ou saída de nível de linha, incluindo placas
de som de computador, reprodutores de CD portáteis,
reprodutores de MP3 e outros. A maioria dos sis
temas de jogos possui saídas RCA esquerda e direi
ta. Um cabo adaptador é necessário para essa
conexão. A Altec Lansing vende o cabo adaptador
(AAC1) em seu website.
2. Conecte o plugue de força DC (F) da fonte de alimen
tação à tomada DC na parte inferior do satélite
direito.
3. Conecte a fonte de alimentação DC (E) à tomada de
parede AC.
