The Alpha Communicat ions® / S.T .R.™ VH40 QwikBUS™ Series
stat ions are designed to work as an apartment type open voice
video-interc om station, using a minimal of wiring. All VH40 stations
in a building can be wired on only two (2) common (loop) wires!
The QwikBUS™ system can support hundreds of VH40 stations on
a single system. Choose from White and two (2) ot her decorator
inspired finishes.

These attractive and t rim stat ions easily surface mount right on
the finished wall. Stations c an be changed t o desk mount with the
addition of a model TZ-VFS (White) desk adapter.

All VH40 series QwikBUS™ stations select able electronic t one
signaling, Voice On, Door Release, and Call Volume, as well as a
cryst al glass protec tive sc reen cover to allow for quick and easy
cleaning.

These switc hes can be used for door release, or other signaling
funct ions, depending upon system configuration. All VH40 series

QwikBUS™ stations can be inter-mixed with t he VHC3033 and/or

VFS1000 series QwikBUS™ video- intercom monitors.

(47mm). All dimensions shown are for
the surface wall type stat ion.

Architects' And Engineers' SpecificationsArchitects' And Engineers' Specifications

The 2-Wire handset type video-interc om station(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / S.T.R.™ QwikBUS™ VH40 in (White, Black or
White/Black) finish. Station(s) shall be mounted surface (st andard), or desktop with the optional TZ- VFS desk mounting adapter. Station(s)
shall feature elec tret c ondenser microphone for exceptional half-duplex voice fidelit y (requiring no pressing of any Talk or Listen butt ons).

Monitor(s) shall include a high quality 4.3" color video sc reen (measured diagonally) and soft touch button c ontrols. Monitors using mirrors or
other non-flat t ype screens, or coaxial cable shall not be ac c eptable. Monitor(s) shall feature controls for brightness, contrast and horizontal
hold. Screen and soft touc h butt on c ontrols shall be protec ted by c rystal/glass.

Stat ions that include simplex type or ot her voice technologies shall not be ac c eptable. Station shall include Voice On and Door Release soft
touc h c ontrol buttons. Station(s) shall include a built-in (user selectable) elect ronic c all tone signal. Station(s) shall require only two (2)
common (loop) wires for system operation.

Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and building c odes.
