Architects' And Engineers' Specifications

The B&W video-intercom monitor st ation(s) shall be
Alpha Communications® / S.T.R.™ QwikBUS™ VH3033-4 series,
4-wire type or approved equal. Monitor(s) shall be
mounted surfac e (or desktop using optional model T Z30-XX X series
adapter). Monitor(s) shall include a high quality 4.0" flat screen.
Monitors using mirrors or ot her non-flat type screens, or coaxial
cable shall not be ac ceptable. Monitor(s) shall feature front
mounted c ontrols for brightness, c ontrast and horizontal hold
Monitor handset shall feat ure elect ret c ondenser microphone for
exceptional voice fidelity. Handsets that include carbon transmitter
or other voice technologies shall not be acc eptable. Handset
shall have a textured finish and flexible coiled cord. Handset
shall include a door release (KEY SYMBOL) butt on. Push
button shall be clearly visible and shall be marked in a different
color. Handset shall feat ure an electronic c hime signal, with a 2nd
chime sound for optional private door bell signaling. Monitor shall
be in White (VH3033-4W), Anthracite Black (VH3033-4A), or
Titanium (VH3033-4T) finish, as select ed by architec t or
building owner/manager.

Contract or shall observe all local and national electrical
and building codes.

VH3033-4 Series Video-Intercom Monitors

The Alpha Communicat ions® / S.T.R.™ VH3033-4 QwikBUS™ series
4-wire monitors are designed t o meet virtually any requirement for
video-interc om sec urity, while not requiring any riser coaxial
cabling, or any selective (home-run) wiring.

These att ractive monitors are c onveniently surfac e mounted right
on the wall. Monitors can be changed to desk mount with the
addition of an opt ional model T Z30-XXX series desk adapter.

All VH3033-4 series QwikBUS™ monitors feat ure a c rystal c lear 4.0"
black and white flat sc reen monitor (measured diagonally),
textured finish handset (to minimize sc ratches and fingerprints),
elect ronic c hime signaling, flexible coiled cord and momentary door
release button switc h. VH3033-4 series QwikBUS™ monitors are
available in White (model VH3033-4W), Anthracite (model VH3033-

4A), or Titanium (model VH3033-4T) finish.
