The Alpha Communicat ions® / S.T .R.™ VFSE1500X QwikBUS™
Series stat ions are designed to work as an apartment type open
voice video-interc om st ation and with Emergency signaling
capabilities, using a minimal of wiring, when used in c onjunction
with our AlphaEntry™ (v3.0 or later) software and/or hardware. All

VFSE1500X stat ions in a building can be wired on only two (2)

common (loop) wires! T he QwikBUS™ syst em can support hundreds
of VFSE1500X st ations on a single system. Choose from White and
five (5) ot her decorator inspired finishes.

These attractive and t rim video-intercom stations easily surfac e
mount right on the finished wall, or can flush mount over a
model UMV1000 flush plastic housing, with model HWB mounting
screws. Stations c an be changed t o desk mount with t he addition
of a model TZ- VFS (White) desk adapter.

All VFSE1500X series QwikBUS™ stations selec table elect ronic tone
signaling, Voice On, Door Release, Call Volume, Call Down and four
(4) momentary button switches (marked '1', '2', '3' and '4').

When used with an AlphaEntry™ interface, t hese switches c an be
used for additional door release, or other signaling functions,
depending upon syst em configuration. All VFSE1500X series have
the ability t o c onnect to an optional model ECD2 dual input wiring
harness connector, which allows easy local connection to
Emergency, Smoke, Pendant or ot her dry cont ac t signaling inputs.

Architects' And Engineers' SpecificationsArchitects' And Engineers' Specifications

The 2-Wire open voice video-intercom/emergency st ation(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / S.T.R.™ QwikBUS™ VFSE1500X in (White,
Titanium, 24K Gold Plated, Crystal Glass, Stainless Steel or Anthracite) color. Station(s) shall be mounted (surface, flush or desktop), with
required optional mounting components. Station(s) shall feat ure elect ret condenser microphone for clear half duplex voice fidelit y (requiring
no pressing of any T alk or Listen buttons).

Monitor(s) shall include a high quality 4.0" color video sc reen (measured diagonally). Monitors using mirrors or other non-flat type screens, or
coaxial cable shall not be ac c eptable. Monitor(s) shall feature controls for brightness, contrast and horizontal hold.

Stat ions that include simplex type or ot her voice technologies shall not be ac c eptable. Station shall include a Voice On, Door Release, Call
Volume, Call Down, and four (4) auxiliary c alling buttons (marked '1', '2', '3' and '4'). Station(s) shall include a built-in (user
selectable) elec tronic call tone signal. Stat ion(s) shall require only t wo (2) common (loop) wires for system operation, and c an be used
with the optional model ECD2 dual input wiring harness connect or, for interfac ing to Emergency, Smoke, Pendant or other dry contact
closure input devices and AlphaEntry™ hardware/soft ware (v3.0 or later).
