The Alpha Communications® / S.T.R.™ VFS35

QwikBUS™ Series stations are designed to work as an

apartment type open voice video-intercom station,
using a minimal of wiring. All VFS35 stations in a
building can be wired on only two (2) common (loop)
wires! The QwikBUS™ system can support hundreds
of VFS35 stations on a single system.

These attractive and trim stations easily surface mount
right on the finished wall.

A ll VFS35 series QwikBUS™ stations can be inter­mixed with the VFS1000 and/or VHC3033 series

QwikBUS™ video-intercom monitors.

AR C HITEC T S' AND ENG INE ERS' SPECIFICAT IO NS

The 2-Wire open voice video-intercom station(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / S.T.R.™ QwikBUS™ VFS35 in
White color. Station(s) shall be mounted surface (standard). Station(s) shall feature electret condenser microphone
for exceptional half-duplex voice fidelity (requiring no pressing of any Talk or Listen buttons).

Monitor(s) s hall include a high quality 3.5" color video screen (measured diagonally). Monitors using mirrors or other
non-flat type screens, or coaxial cable shall not be acceptable. Monitor(s) shall feature controls for brightness,
contrast and horizontal hold.

Stations that include simplex type or other voice technologies shall not be acceptable. Station shall include a Voice
On and Door Release. Station(s) shall include a built-in (user selectable) electronic call tone signal. Station(s) shall

require only two (2) common (loop) wires for system operation.

Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and building codes.
