The Alpha Communicat ions® / S.T .R.™ VFS1500 QwikBUS™ Series
stat ions are designed to work as an apartment type open voice
video-interc om station, using a minimal of wiring. All VFS1500
stat ions in a building can be wired on only two (2) common (loop)
wires! The QwikBUS™ system can support hundreds of

VFS1500 stat ions on a single syst em. Choose from White and five

(5) other dec orator inspired finishes.

These attractive and t rim stat ions easily surface mount right on
the finished wall, or c an flush mount over a model UMV1000 flush
plastic housing with model HWB mounting screws. Stations c an
be c hanged to desk mount with the addition of a model TZ-VF S
(White) desk adapt er.

All VFS1500 series QwikBUS™ stations selec table elect ronic tone
signaling, Voice On, Door Release, Call Volume, and five (5)
momentary c all button switc hes (marked '0', '1' , '2' , '3' and '4').

These momentary c all buttons can be used for calling (signaling) to
other VFS1500 series monitors, or for door release, or
other signaling functions, depending upon system configuration. All

VFS1500 series QwikBUS™ st ations can be inter-mixed with the
VFS1000 series and also the VHC3033 series QwikBUS™ handset

style video-intercom monitors.

The 2-Wire open voice video-intercom station(s) shall be Alpha Communicat ions® / S.T .R.™ QwikBUS™ VFS1500 in (White, Titanium, 24K
Gold Plated, Crystal Glass, Stainless Steel or Anthracite) c olor. Station(s) shall be mounted surface (standard), or flush or desktop, with
required optional mounting components. Station(s) shall feat ure electret condenser microphone for exceptional half- duplex voice fidelity
(requiring no pressing of any Talk or Listen buttons).

Monitor(s) shall include a high quality 4.0" color video sc reen (measured diagonally). Monitors using mirrors or other non-flat type sc reens, or
coaxial cable shall not be ac c eptable. Monitor(s) shall feature controls for brightness, contrast and horizontal hold.

Stat ions that include simplex type or ot her voice technologies shall not be ac c eptable. Station shall include a Voice On, Door Release, Call
Volume and five (5) momentary button switc hes (marked '0', '1', '2', '3' and '4'). Station(s) shall include a built-in (user selec table) elect ronic
call tone signal. Stat ion(s) shall require only two (2) common (loop) wires for system operation.
