The hands-free type 4.3" GB2 series color
video-interc om monitor station(s) shall be
Alpha Communicat ions® / Golmar VESTA2

GB2, or approved equal. Monitor(s) shall be

mounted on t he wall (or desk mounted using
optional #SOB-UNI desk adapter). Monitor(s)
shall be connec ted using a simple 2­conductor non- polarized (loop) wiring.
Monitor(s) shall include a high quality 4.3"
TFT (480 x 272) color screen. Monitors using
mirrors or other non-flat type sc reens, or
coaxial cable shall not be ac c eptable.
Monitor(s) shall feature electret c ondenser
microphone for except ional half-duplex digital
voice fidelity. Monitor shall include an on­screen display (OSD) and 2 func tion butt ons
for call answering and door release. OSD
menu shall be controlled by t he front
mounted c apac itive (soft touc h) navigation
buttons. Monitor shall feature an elect ronic
calling signal (selec table) and shall only
protrude from the finished wall 0.75" inches
(20mm).

Contractor shall observe all local and national
elect rical and building codes.

The GB2's system uses simple 2-
conductor non- polarized wiring making it
ideal for new installations as well as for
retrofit applicat ions. All audio, video and
data funct ions are fully digital and using
the RAP-2150 (or equivalent) c able you
can run up to 300 meters from the
entrance panel to the furthest monitor.

The Alpha Communicat ions® VESTA2 GB2 series hands free type 4.3" color monitors use
the GB2 technology to provide the most advanced video-intercom system available, for
any multi-unit building up to 256 apartments and up to four (4) entry door st ations.

These attractive monitors c onveniently mount right on the wall and are only 0.75" deep!
Due t o its advanced design the VESTA2 GB2 feat ures an easy to use on- sc reen display
(OSD) to easily navigate through its multiple funct ions, as well as big front buttons for
call answering and door release. The menu functions are c ontrolled by the front
mounted c apac itive (soft touc h) navigation butt ons.

All VESTA2 GB2 monitors feature a crystal c lear 4.3" color TFT (480 x 272) flat screen
monitor (measured diagonally), on-screen menu to c ontrol system funct ions and hands­free voice.
