The elect ronic directory shall be Alpha
Communications® model TE7010/LCD or
approved equivalent. The liquid
cryst al display shall use Triple Supertwist
display t ec hnology. The unit shall have
1,000 name capac ity, and shall display 20
names per page (sc reen) at a time, in
large, easy t o read 26 point font
size. Unit shall have BOLD font selection
available as well as reverse screen opt ion.
Names shall be auto- sorted. Unit shall be
made of heavy 16 gauge st ainless steel
and shall install on t he surfac e of the
finished wall. All electronics shall be self
contained, and shall require a key for
access. Unit shall be programmable from a
standard DIN PC/XT style keyboard
(model KB-1). Large metal UP and DOWN
buttons shall allow easy sc rolling of
names on display. Unit shall require one
(1) model T1640 transformer for power.

Contractor shall observe all local and
national elect rical and building codes.

is designed for multi-family residential and commercial applicat ions. The directory offers t he
latest liquid crystal Triple Supertwist display tec hnology for indoor applicat ions.

The TE7010/LCD may be used in conjunction with virtually any Alpha Communications®
entry system or it may be used alone to serve as a st and-alone directory for the apartment
building, office complex, retail outlet , et c.
