SF505ES Wireless Smoke Detector

The Alpha Communicat ions® / TekTone SF505ES Wireless Smoke Detector is for use
with the Tek- CARE®500 (TC500) Wireless Emergency Call System.

The SF505ES is built upon photoelectric ESL technology, that continually monitors its
own sensitivity and operational status. T he detector provides drift compensation and
visual display of over- or under sensitivity so that corrective ac tion can be taken
to reduce false alarms. Wireless frequency hopping tec hnology maximizes range and
reliability. The SF505ES is powered by two (2) included 3V Lithium bat teries, and
batt ery life is estimat ed at up to five (5) years, reducing the inconvenience and cost
of replacing batteries. T he SF505ES Wireless Smoke Detector features a low profile
design and blends in with any dec or.

Architects' And Engineers' Specifications

The wireless Smoke Detec tor(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / TekTone SF505ES or approved equal. It shall use the 900 MHz frequency
for signal transmission, and shall monitor its own sensitivity and operational stat us. No physical wiring connections shall be required to
transmit an alarm c all. Two (2) 3V lithium batt eries shall be included. The transmitter shall be no larger than 5.50" diameter x 2.63" deep.

TekTone® has designed the Tek- CARE®500 (TC500) t o work as a system. Its NC501ES Master Station Computer has been c arefully
designed and matc hed t o work with T C500 wireless and wired peripherals. TekTone® will not warrant or support components of TC500 t hat
are purchased separately unless the components are add-ons to previously sold systems. TekTone® will also not warrant or support a
system that is a mix of TekTone® and Non-TekTone® parts, unless prior written permission has been obtained. In order to t rack our
systems and t o inform facilities of soft ware upgrades, full site information (site name, address and phone number) will be required when
ordering. Site information and NC501ES warranty number will also be required when requesting t echnical support.
