Code Call Station(s) shall be Alpha Communicat ions® / TekTone

SF341B or approved equal. Code stat ions and wiring from c ode

stat ions to patient stations shall be fully supervised. Operation of
emergency signals shall be ac c omplished by a short pull on the
(optional CA015K) nylon cord or (optional CA016K) TPU plastic
cord or by pulling/pushing down on the BLUE lever marked "CODE".
The RED "CALL PLACED" indicator shall flash t o assure that the
call has been properly placed. The initiation of the code c all shall
cause the activation of both audible and visual signals. Call
cancellation shall be possible only at point of origination. Reliable,
solid-stat e c omponents shall be used and plug-in connect ors shall
be provided for elect rical c onnections.

The SF341B shall be UL 1069 Listed to t he latest Standards.
Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and
building codes.

For use in ICU/CCU, physical therapy rooms, post- op recovery, or
any location where c ode c all initiation may be required. The

SF341B Code Call station is used t o operate all system emergency

signals. The LARGE 1.5" BLUE pull/push-down lever may be used, or
the optional (model CA015K or CA016K) pull cord assembly may be
used for c ode c all activation. The c all-placed indicator flashes to
provide for call assurance. Calls are registered on the master
stat ion (and duty station if used) via audible and visual signals
pulsing at a rate of t wice that of a st andard emergency signal.
Local indication on dome lights is also provided. Call canc ellation is
possible only at t he originating SF341B location.
